After about a month of testing, I can say that there is some merit to the all popular red light skin treatment. This mask is mostly made of silicone, with soft fabrics straps. It can be rolled up for easy storage and it is easy to clean. Charging is done through a usb-c port on the top and it has enough battery to comfortably last through the session. Your mileage may vary, but I did see some noticeable improvements to my skin. Maybe it’s the placebo effect, but I’m impressed at the results. This red light therapy face mask is great for all types of facial rejuvenation needs. Has 7 different light modes that you can choose from based on what you are wanting to treat. I personally prefer the red and blue light for my skin, as I tend to get inflammation and redness flare-ups due to rosacea. Since using this mask for the last few weeks, I can say that I have noticed a decrease in some of the redness I would normally see daily. So I am happy about that! I know all things take time to treat, but feel my skin will keep improving with consistent use. As far as setting up the mask, that was easy. Just be sure to follow the directions and charge it fully before using. Added perk that it’s cordless so you don’t have to sit all tangled up with wires around your face! By it’s very nature the mask is fairly uncomfortable to wear if you get it tight enough to where there’s no light shining in directly around your eyes. I made it especially snug because I’m extra cautious about that. But of course there’s still the slightest hint of light that can be detected underneath my eyes. The mask doesn't contour well enough for the rubber around the eyes to completely seal and contour to the face. It’s close. The eye opening also isn’t very big so it ends up pressing right above my eyelid, below my eyebrow. It would’ve actually been helpful if they made the eye gaps larger to more accurately reflect the opening of the eye socket. The pressure isn’t outright painful, but it’s quite unpleasant. I don’t have any experience with these sorts of masks, so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to expect. I have middle aged skin, but I also struggle with acne. I’m mostly interested in using the red and blue light. I do wish they had a setting that could combine lights all in one. Overall, I didn’t notice any irritation with use and it appears to be functional and works as it should. Easy to operate. However, only time will tell if it’s offering me any benefit. Read more
