I unexpectedly loved this! I noticed a difference after the first use. I initially paired it with a facial steamer followed by a Korean sheet mask after my 1st LED treatment. I was SHOOKETH. I looked like I went on vacation and took 10 years off. My skin just looks more relaxed and smooth and glowy. I was really surprised by how comfortable and easy it is to use, it's not fussy and I'm able to move around with it if I like. I've turned it into dedicated me time. It has a nice shut off timer which is great because I can relax, meditate or doze off with it because it is so comfortable and soothing. The dual battery packs are super handy. It's hard to resist the urge to use it daily even though more is not more when it comes to skin care. I also have PCOS and am struggling with ingrown hair on my chin. This is helping with that because my skin is softer so the hair doesn't get caught growing out and it's easy to pluck away. Usually that time of the month I'm fraught with itchy stubble bumps which look like persistent blackheads. Total disaster! I was Not able to change light settings ever. Used the red light for a few weeks then it stopped working at all. This was a huge rip off. I looked to return since there is a 12 month warranty and my return window with Amazon expired February 7, 30 days after purchase. This face mask is great, and the different modes are a great value for the money. It took a second to understand the setup for the eye guards, and I needed to check the manual, but after that it was super quick. This red light mask is just okay. I haven’t noticed any real benefits from using it. That said, I also have a much larger, and more powerful red light machine. So it’s possible I’m just used to that. My wife has used this one a few times and says it’s okay too. It’s easy to charge and wear while watching TV. I do like that I don’t have to wear eye protection like I do with the bigger panels. It's lightweight, and not uncomfortable, but I wish I felt some intensity from this. Right now it just feels like I'm wearing a light up mask. Read more
I’m finally getting around to doing the review on this light Max red eye therapy mask. One thing to keep in mind if you order something like this, you have to use it consistently and you have to make time in your daily routine to do it. I purchased this about a month ago and finally got a chance today to check it out. It was quite comfortable. There’s no information on how to put the eye guards in which I figured out, but there was nothing in the instructions about it. I used it for about 15 minutes on this the third setting for me. I probably wouldn’t put it on and do things around the house I probably would take the time to relax while I was using it. It will take time for it to show any improvement if there’s going to be any, but it’s supposed to increase your blood circulation and improve your skin and penetrate into deep tissue. I’ve actually gone to spas and paid for spa treatments of red light therapy, which not really sure how much good it did just because it was only a once in a while thing at least with this it’s in the home and I can use it many times a week if I so choose It’s easy to put on. It’s easy to take off and the fit is adjustable so it won’t just fall off unless you don’t adjust it properly it seems like it’s a well made a little bit. Pricey I think for just a small area coverage, but if the red lights are strong enough to penetrate multiple layers of the skin and make a difference then it’ll prove to be worth the cost.
