Arrived in 4 days, very well packed. Exactly as described, easy to unfold and set up, very strong and sturdy. Does not sway or rock, thick material and looks like it will hold up for years to come. Love that it is a larger size, width, length and height. The rubber feet are very slip resistant when getting in and out of it. Very reasonable price for such a great bed. Ordered it for my growing grandson who is 15 and coming to stay with us for a few days and I think he will be very comfortable, we have a 4 inch memory foam to put on it that we bought last year from Amazon to sleep on the floor with, and this year we will have a much improved situation getting him up off of the floor. A person would be ok even without the pad, it is a very nice bed. Has a small footprint when folded and standing on end so it will take up little space when storing. I ordered this because I'm a Girl Scout leader and we do a lot of tent camping. I liked that it was wider and taller, as my previous one was short and made noise when I rolled over. Definitely more comfortable then my previous cot. I tested it out while watching TV, I liked that it didn't make a any noise when I rolled over but when I sat up on the side, my feet didn't touch the floor. Lol Apparently I'm to short (5'6") it took a while to figure out how to get up. But I think it'll work for our trips, and hopefully I'll be able to sleep more then 30 minutes. Read more
I have had the cot for about 2 weeks but I have been sleeping on it for the last week now. I wanted to put it through its paces before depending on it. It was purchased for tent and small cabin use. This cot was chosen for its small foot print. While only 28" x 75" I fine it plenty big for a 6’ 350 lb guy. However I am a side sleeper. When on my back my arms do fall off to the sides. I did not think I would care for the head rest sticking up but actually find it beneficial. Folds out easy and is very stable. It is a tad bit noisy when rolling over (fabric noises) but the frame does not move or make noise. Siting on it does not cause it to fold at all, however I would not sit on the foot of the cot since there is no direct support there. I cannot speak to longevity as of yet but the frame work appears solid (I have sat on the edge) and the plastic joints tough and sturdy. Over all I believe this is perfect for my intended use. More than adequate for my size and weight. Would I recommend, well yes, I have order another for my wife or friends so we would have two. I also got the REDCAMP XL Cot Pads for Camping (brown corduroy) to go with it. This combo makes for a comfortable night’s sleep and not heat up. Only thing I would say at this point is I wish it was a tad taller than 15” but it is a lot better than the 8” high aluminum bi-fold cots we have now. Read more
This cot is very easy to set up and take down, nor is it difficult to get the folded cot back in its carrying case. I really like the extra width. I put my 25 inch wide Thermarest sleeping pad on the cot and it lays perfectly flat. In my normal size cot the sleeping pad would end up at an angle as it would overlap one side of the cot. The sides of cots lengthways are always a little higher than the interior of a cot. This cot is wide enough to avoid that. Sleeping in my sleeping pad on top of this very sturdy cot is comfortable. The pocket hanging off the side is very convenient for keeping my cell phone in, along with anything else I might need during the night. The bottoms of the cot are flat, which is better for the floor of my tent. I cannot speak yet to durability, but after a couple of camping trips so far I am happy. Read more
This camping cot is durable. It has side pockets to hold a few small items such as a phone, wallet, etc. It has been used for people of various weights (up to 250 lbs.) in my household and it has held up. My chief complaint is that it is not comfortable at all. When ever I turned, I would hit a firm point on the cot. It also makes a lot of noise when I turn (the fabric makes the noise, the frame is sturdy and noiseless). I have another cot which is lighter and firm, but it is comfortable. Read more
