The best for cleaning

Regular JoeJanuary 10, 2026✓ Verified purchase

I previously purchased the copper scrubbers and they disintegrate over time. This cloth is amazing, gives much better and easier to use cleaning surface, remains intact and does a good job cleaning. Get this version vs the scrubbers is my recommendation. Read more

Perfect for refinishing cast iron!!

Emi, NCJuly 4, 2015✓ Verified purchase

I bought these pads specifically to refinish my cast iron pots. When removing rust and old seasoning, it is important not to use steel wool of any kind, as the steel contains iron. You don't want to be rubbing little flakes of easily oxidized iron into the pan while you're trying to get rid of the rust. The steel is also tougher than the cast iron, and if you put too much elbow grease on it, you can end up scratching your pan. Copper does not rust, so there is no chance of transmitting rust to your pan, and is tough enough to scrub away seasoning and rust without damaging your pan. Most copper scrub pads on amazon are actually steel coated in copper, which is not better for your pan than any other piece of steel wool. These pads are copper through and through. I used one set to refinish two frying pans, a dutch oven, and a loaf pan. They worked great, and I would definitley use them again. If you are planning on reseasoning, I would recommend using these pads, a toothbrush, and a little phosphoric acid (and some gloves). A lot of people shy away from so-called "chemical cleaners" on cast iron, but phosphoric is the perfect cleaner for cast iron because it is one of the only acids that eats iron oxide (rust) without eating iron (your pan), like muratic and hydrochloric acid do. (So don't use vinegar, soda, or oven cleaner) Phosphoric acid will convert the rust into a protective phosphate layer that you can scrub off or season as-is. Much more gentle than sandblasting or scrubbing, and better for your pans. My Lodge cast iron looks better than new! Read more

Perfectly Awesome Cleaning Pad

AmyDinMVFebruary 25, 2016✓ Verified purchase

Best cleaning pad I've ever used, and I've used plenty. Works wonders on aluminum, stainless steel, copper, cast iron, and works on porcelain as well. Gets off the gunk you never thought would come off, and without too much elbow grease! Rinses clean. Let dry between usings and it lasts for months. Gave to all my besties for Christmas gift adder (yep, every year I give my fave cleaning product to my friends) and everyone asked where can I get a replacement when this wears out? Get rid of all those other pads - rusty choreboys, prickly SOS pads... this one's the keeper! Read more

Copper Cleaner

Neecii EMay 9, 2025✓ Verified purchase

The item was okay. I really couldn't use it on my Copper pots though. The item was as described. Looked good until used. Don't know what will look like once cleaned. I just used them. I think I was under the impression you could use them on your copper, but I feel, it's not for cleaning your expensive copper. It is really soft to touch. Read more

Cleans Le Creuset and chrome better than anything I've tried, but isn't a set of 2 cloths - I only received 1

BaseballMomJuly 8, 2018✓ Verified purchase

I inherited a set of Le Creuset that had not been well cared for. This has been the only thing that removed the baked on food. It did not reduce actual stains (and, it did leave a little of a grey stain when I tried using it on the interior of my stockpot), but, at least I now know that the pots and pans are clean. I also used the cloth on some 1950s era chrome and formica tables - not only did it shine the chrome almost like new, but, it removed some sticky residue that I hadn't been able to clean off, and it didn't scratch the formica. It's also a really durable cloth, and still looks like new after a lot of use. Read more

Wish I could give higher!

Kathleen d. SmithJanuary 31, 2021✓ Verified purchase

After reading a bazillion reviews of different kinds of sponges that seemed more eco-friendly, I went with these. I LOVE them, and I don't love them. I wish I could recommend them more highly because they are super effective & more eco-friendly, but the longevity is not great :-(. Details below. PRO: - they clean ANYTHING. (obviously don't use them on copper, but anything else goes, including the good silver!). They are so much more effective than any other sponge, scrubby, etc., I have ever used. And easily & softly--no grinding required! Things that in the past required a fair amount of elbow grease now wipe off in an easy few swipes. THIS IS F'ING COOL! Like, REALLY REALLY EFFECTIVE!!! CON: - the fiber (nylon? not sure) that is woven in with the copper absorbs and keeps any and all kind of fats, which makes the scrubby end up smelling pretty weird within a few weeks if you're using it as a dish scrubby (which I am). I tried throwing it in the dishwasher, the washing machine (like is recommended), washing in SUPER hot water, even boiling with vinegar and dishsoap to try and get the oils & fats out, but sadly, ALL TO NO AVAIL. This part is annoying & a real bummer. - Longevity is not great. Within about two or three weeks of using, the first one started falling apart. We managed to keep using it for maybe two months, but then it just smelled TOO terrible to continue, so moved on to the second one. That one is holding up slightly better, but still started coming unraveled within about a month. This second one IS holding up better than the first, but I anticipate we'll have to toss it eventually due to the smell or degradation. Love them for the efficacy, don't love them for lack of durability & smell. If those two things could be fixed, I'd 100% buy again & recommend with no reservations at all. Read more

A must have if you have to clean stainless pots and pans often

Shady Ave ReaderNovember 9, 2025✓ Verified purchase

For cleaning stainless steel pots and pans, these are excellent. They can handle baked on crud and they won't leave bad scratches (if you have good quality steel.) They are pricey, but they also last months which in the long run makes them cost effective. Read more
