I got my windshield tinted so I had to remove my existing mount and purchase this replacement. So I picked up this REDTIGER adhesive mount after reading some reviews on Amazon. The adhesive pad has a very strong hold once it’s in place on the windshield, the mount doesn’t shift or rattle, even in hot weather or on bumpy roads. Because of this it is also very difficult to remove. Very. Attaching the dash cam to the mount is quick and simple, and the design keeps it stable without taking up much windshield space. Pros: Very strong adhesive as it stays firmly in place once installed It's pretty compact The design makes it easy to attach and detach the dash cam. Cons: Since it’s adhesive-based, you can’t move it between cars as easily as a suction mount, but that also means a more secure fit. Extremely difficult to remove the adhesive, I recommend using floss and some anti-adhesive. Read more

I am on my second one of these products and I am debating whether or not to purchase another one because the first two I had did not work properly and even when fully tightened would constantly swivel along with not locking onto the dash cam itself so when sudden movements occur in the vehicle the dash cam Falls right off of this which is very frustrating Read more
