Shout out to the excellent customer service rep Emma who reached out to make sure that I had all the accessories needed for a successful installation. As a result, RedTiger sent a 24/7 wire kit that enables the dashcam to keep recording when the engine turns off and has low-voltage protection to not run the car battery dry. So far the performance of the F4 Pro meets and exceeds my expectation for an affordable dashcam. The 4K front & 1080p rear videos provide clear recording during the day and reasonably good at night with proper lighting. The installation kit came with a tool to help to tuck the cable into car ceiling liner. There was plenty of cable length left for a full-sized car cabin. The touchscreen has quite a few camera functionalities that it would be nice if all the controls can be on the phone app as well. There are a few essential physical buttons that are also on the app. The unit can run warm at times but not as high as some other dashcams. The app can view and replay the video and lag times are reasonable. The offline PC app is helpful in reviewing the videos and can be set to show simultaneous front & rear footages. It's great and convenient that RedTiger already included a 128GB card that I did not have to buy separate card. I have other more pricier dashcams on my other vehicles. I have been using the REDTIGER F4 Pro 4K Dash Cam on two cars for a while, and it’s an impressive upgrade, deserving a 5-star rating. The 4K front and 1080P rear cameras deliver crisp, clear footage day and night, with the STARVIS 2 sensor performing great in low light. The 5.8GHz WiFi6 makes transferring videos to my phone fast and smooth. Installation was straightforward but took me a while to get it done, and the compact design doesn’t obstruct the view. The touchscreen is responsive, and the voice control is surprisingly handy for hands-free operation. If I had to note one minor drawback, the field of view could be slightly wider, but overall, the video quality and reliability make this dash cam an excellent value for its price. Vehicle: BMW E90 Pros: Installation was very easy, hiding all the wires behind interior panels was easy, his excess wire in panels too. USB port very convenient for charging your phone or a radar detector which is what I use it for. Video quality is good and app is pretty easy to use. Being able to rotate the camera to the interior is very nice. Cons: Would prefer the lense to be a little wider. Flipping the camera around to mount on the dash makes the video upside down. Couldn't find a flip view button on camera or app, put in a support ticket to find out if it's just user error or not. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Bought this about 4 months ago. Installation of both front and rear cameras was straight forward, the included tool was very helpful when routing the cables. The GPS functionality and the map view when playing the video back in the app is really nice. When mounting, I used only what was provided in the box and have had no issues; it still holds strong. Yesterday, I installed the RedTiger hardwire kit to record time-lapse when the car is off. It works great. Great picture in both front and back cameras. UPDATE: Like others have mentioned, the screensaver clock can be annoying at night. Not wanting to remove these two cameras (front/rear) and wiring, find another camera, and then install the new one, I resolved the issue by adding a screen cover. I cut a piece out of a black plastic report folder and attached it with a strip of black electrical tape, careful not to cover the vents on the camera. Now it is completely dark and if I want to use the screen, I just flip the cover up. Read more

I’m very happy with my purchase! This dash cam was extremely easy to set up and use. The instructions were clear and straightforward, so I had it up and running in minutes. UPDATE: I've updated my review due to the response of the seller, Redtiger. After seeing my review they reached out and we came up with a resolution that will solve issue. I wasn't expected that, but it says a lot for the company and that they stand behind their products. This is my 3rd Redtiger camera and the only one I have had an issue with. I am still a happy Redtiger customer. ORIGINAL: I have Redtiger cams in my work vehicle, as well as two personal vehicles. I've been happy with all but this one. I've found that the pivot on the camera mount on this one has become loose. The unfortunately part is that there doesn't seem to be any way to tighten it. No screws to tighten under the trim cap either. It seems to be a pivot that depends on thin plastic to create friction on the pivot hub. Not sure what the solution is at this point. Other than this issue, it's a nice camera. A little chunkier than I expected, but I was able to find a spot out of the way to mount it. Read more
