I love love love this dash cam! It records very clear easy to view video and has been a great addition to my defensive driving skills! The camera and wiring were very easy to install, got great reviews from consumer reports, nice value, functions quite well and is easy to navigate. Wifi connectivity was fabulous as well! Read more

Installation was not difficult, apart from self-inflicted idiocy during the hardwire process. We ended up needing the camera last month and it came through with flying colors. A driver ran a stone cold red light, t-boned a car and bounced off into ours. Our ViewClear 70 captured it all and we were able to show the police the video on my phone by the time they arrived on scene due to how easy it is to connect to the camera via wifi to access video. They remarked they'd not seen such high quality footage from a dash cam. The end result was a quick finding by the police and our insurance company that we were not at fault. Read more

The media could not be loaded. It helped me with my insurance claim, but the driver was hit and run so with no front plate required in NM he got away. I failed to set it for 5 min loop and so the video ended at a bad time. But the camera still activated and caught the video. I'm happy with it! Read more

The camera is as described. Only using the front one. Takes additional work to add back camera on a Honda CRV. Read more

The main unit is good. The problem is have is the rear camera is for an inside installation only. The rear camera uses a USB C connector a d most to all of rear cameras use a RCA phone type connector. Some vehicles like mine has a rear window that rolls up and down where the camera that this model came with will not work and there's no adapter to use for any other camera to make use of the rear viewing camera recording function. This is a great camera. My previous FN7 stopped working and i purchased this model as a replacement. Truns out my old one has shorted our due to wiring harness and a bad dog with persistent urge to chew.... this camera has many improvements to my older model, was quick to install, about 20 minutes, and so far has very crisp and sharp videos whe reviwing. It sees better in the dark, reads license plates and i like the screen saver featuer when driving in darkness. I highly recommend this model. Read more

I have yet discovered how to hook up the RedTiger dash cam hardwire on my Grand Sport Corvette. Ths kit protects the car while parked. Here is the problem. Every mini fuse in the fuse box located in the passenger footwell is hot. So the power wire on the hardwire kit is easy to connect (brown wire) to a constatly hot fuse. The red wire must be connected to an ACC fuse. You need to determine which of the forementioned fuses is an ACC powered fuse. So, you start the engine, and check each fuse for power. Any fuse that had power when the engine was off, AND does not have power when the engine is running IS AN ACC powered fuse. NOT ONE OF THE FUSES IN THE PASSENGER FOOTWELL FUSE BOX IS AN ACC CIRCUIT. I really dont want to rewire my car to install this unit. It appears upon preliminary review that there are no ACC fuses under the hood in that fuse box. Finally, while some fuses appear to be ACC fuses, it appears that the circuit is ACC only when you turn something on such as cruise control, fog lights. Of course, the cruise control wont be activated when the vehicle is off, and parked. Any ideas appreciated ... which wont require dismantling the car, or ....... . Read more
