Ordered for my husband- he usually wears black, gray, medium blue or dark blue. He has enough pairs of black shorts though and I knew the only other color available he would like is the red. They arrived neatly on a hanger and with the obvious quality we expect from a brand like Reebok. I love the color, it’s a true red, think fire engine or sports car- in fact they match my husband’s car. He finds them comfortable, breathable, and true to size. He’s not used to wearing red, but we agree, it makes him more visible to traffic for after work walks or jogs, especially when it’s leaning towards dusk. They’re not reflective or glow in the dark, but in waning light a few of the bright colors could serve that purpose. As far as playing hoops, since the bright colors are different than the norm, we’re thinking they’d be good for identifying teammates in a fast paced game. These shorts are super comfortable and flowy. The elastic waistband has the right amount of elasticity to keep the shorts in place even without tying the draw strings. The length is great and allow ease of movement. The shorts with the inside and outside mesh make them not so see through which is nice when out in public. Fit as expected. GOt them for my MS son and he's a skinny kid. Fit well with the drawstrings. He wore them out to run offseason conditioning and they held well. Great value for the money and Reebok is a quality name-brand. He liked the simple colors and black will go with anything he has in the closet b/c he really doesn't try to plan out his outfits, just throws on the first thing he sees and goes! These Reebok mesh shorts are exactly the kind of basic gym shorts I end up reaching for all the time. They are light, breathable, and comfortable for workouts or lounging, and the fit is relaxed without feeling sloppy. The material is on the thinner side and the pockets are pretty standard, but for the price they feel like a solid grab-and-go pair. I would buy them again as an easy everyday short. Read more

Perfect shorts for lounging around and my husband loves them. Around the waist they fit true to size and they're silky and very comfortable. They look good and they're lightweight. The inseam is only 9 in and that is listed but just a heads up in case you like them longer, these are more of your basic above the knee or at the knee for the taller guys. Read more

Really good shorts for workouts. As for freedom of movement, definitely won’t feel restrictive at all with these shorts even though they extend down to close above my knees. The material is very light and definitely breathable. Posted a closeup picture and you can see ventilation is throughout! At the same time you won’t have to be concerned about these being see through. Movement in these shorts I would describe as breezy and free flowing. I ran 5 miles on the treadmill and these stayed on exactly were I had them with just the drawstring not having to pull them up once. That reflects how light and easy to wear these shorts are. Did some horizontal leg presses in the gym and did have to pull them down after a couple of reps because of how free flowing and light the material is.
