I bought this to layer over and match a long sleeved turtleneck shirt and unhooded sweatshirt that I had bought from another store and it was perfect. The set looks great together and feels wonderful. I bought a size up for this purpose. I love the color , the quality and the fabric. These have no strings in the hood but I knew this and don't mind. Pockets are not big enough for a seven inch smart phone to be secure. After wash by itself in warm water on delicate and tumble dry on low heat with an old soft dry bath towel until completely dry, looks like new, no pills, no lint in washer and almost none in dryer. Probably the sleeves got shorter from the laundering, ending up a good length for me. I did not try on before washing because my skin is sensitive to chemical sizing and I have to wash it out first.
