These drops help lubricate my eyes well, and I like the sealed individual droppers that I can carry anywhere. I also like that you can push the lid back onto the top of the dropper, which is good when I plan on using the remaining drops shortly after an initial application. Using this method, you can get two doses in both eyes from one dropper instead of just using them once and tossing the rest. Oh, this stuff is good. I usually buy the bottles, but I needed it quickly (I ran out), and ordered the single use vials to try it that way. I get at least 4, sometimes 6 drops from each vial. If it's too much, I just toss the vial with whatever is left. But they feel so good, sometimes I just lean my head over my chair's backrest and relax while I dispense every little bit. My ophthalmologist recommended these drops when I complained of dry eyes. I've also tried Systane. I prefer Refresh. These drops contain glycerin, which lends viscosity far beyond normal tears. But glycerin is hydrophilic, grabbing and holding moisture molecules. Results? Very long lasting dry eye relief. This product contains no vasoconstrictors, so you can use it as often as you like. I put a drop or two in each eye when I get up in the morning, and do the same in the evening when I was my face. I also check my makeup removal with a magnifying mirror, and if I find a little fleck of mascara or eyeshadow, I flush it with these drops. I can't live without this product. This product works very well. They have taken the time and effort to continue the single dose vials. The multi dose containers do not work and they are more expensive. When you are dealing with very dry eyes, you should not be instilling preservatives which are in multi dose containers. That says to me they are customer oriented. I'm a real fan. Wonderful product and each vial can be used more than once. The cap pushes right back on. One vial will last me a whole day or more. I purchase on a regular basis and the price is much better on Amazon than at retail. For those who do not tolerate the preservative in other products this is for you. Absolutely no irritation.
