We've been using this bath seat for a few weeks now and I am so thankful we found it! Out bathtub has a textured bottom so the seats with suction cups on the bottom were not an option for us. I thought we wouldn't find a proper seat because our little babe was outgrowing the baby bathtub we had. It is very sturdy but also simple to remove when finished with bath time. It is helping our little one gain stronger core muscles for sitting up also. It functions well even though when I first saw the set up I thought it looked odd. Love how this holds my newborn! You can hook the straps of the support pillow on the outer lip of the tub so that it holds a newborn up higher. It really worked much better than other bathtub options I have tried for my older 3 kids. The support cushion is soft and shaped in a way that keeps the baby fairly safe without constantly needing to hold them while bathing. The one thing is there is a raised plastic shape at the bottom of tub that is supposed to keep sitting babies from sliding too far down into water, but it seems to be for when they are older and the support cushion is lower. Doesnt seem the comfiest but compared to so many other newborn bathing options this tub is easy to use, affordable, a great size, keeps baby from rolling easily to the side, and can be used even if you dont have a tub or large enough sink to place it inside! It’s also sturdy because it’s not a fold-up tub! Can be used for sponge baths or regular baths. I have used it for both. My son did slide down a bit the first time, not into any danger but I assumed it wasnt as comfy because of the raised plastic square under his bottom, but he didn’t seem bothered. Perfect little potty for toddlers. Easy & quick to put together. Light weight & doesn’t take up much space at all. My granddaughter loves the cushioned seat & the flushing sound. Priced perfectly for its purpose. She now can run to use it without help of being lifted up onto adult sized toilets. I think it is much safer than the ladder steps up to a toilet that would require constant supervision where this is low to floor. Easy to use & clean after use. I really enjoy this bathtub, I needed another one for bab boy who is 6 moths old because the collapsible one I purchased broke on one side and felt unstable. I love this one and it’s constructed well. No it dosent fold up for compact storage but I feel it’s still a great investment because it’s solid and no worries that it’ll break. It’s easy to clean and has a hook for hanging if you want to store it that way. I also love the insert it comes with. It’s extremely easy to clean and dries quickly. My husband & I used this a year ago for my son when he was a baby baby he grew out of of it a bit quick, I’d recommend the ones you can fill up with water 💦 especially since newborns need sponge baths not full body baths 🛀 yet. I got this training potty for my daughter last year when she was 18 months old just as an introduction to potty training, however we didn’t start to truly potty train until recently (she’s now 2 1/2) and she’s really taken to using her potty. She really enjoys the “flushing” button. The storage compartment isn’t big enough to fit a standard size pack of wipes but if you have travel sized packs those may fit better. She likes to sit on it when it’s on the little potty and now she’s beginning to venture sitting on the removable seat on top of the big adult potties as well. At 18 months it fit her quite well however like I said she wasn’t truly using it until recently at 2 1/2 and it still fits her comfortably, the seat cushion is comfortable for her bottom as she sometimes takes a while to finish going and the cushion and the pot underneath are easily removable to clean and empty. To use the portable seat on top of the regular toilet (our toilets are “V” shaped) it just sets right on top and it’s convenient to move around the house to other bathrooms, there isn’t anything to keep it attached, so be aware you’ll need to watch to make sure it doesn’t get jostled and move too much while the child is getting on and off but it works just fine for our needs so far. I think this is a good starting potty for training young ones so I recommend it and would purchase again. Read more
