Love everything about this bag. The vintage look, the floral interior, beautiful embroidery on outside of bag! I own some expensive special occasion bags and clutches and this adorable, modestly priced bag is fabulous! I read all the reviews but was skeptical. I had no time to shop and needed a larger bag for a wedding. It arrived and looked beautiful with my outfit. Most importantly it was roomy without looking it! I was able to put my glasses in their case inside along with my phone, touch up make up, medications, keys, Kleenex and a few other items with room to spare. Used it with the adorable short handle. The long attachable chain was pretty if needed. The clasp works great; the bag opened easily and stated securely closed. Bought this in black for a formal event, and I think it looks great. Other reviews mention a defective clasp, but mine works just fine. I don't like the appearance of most clutch style bags, but I do like this one. I think it's pretty and I enjoy the vintage look. I'm happy I found something I actually like at a good enough price. The metal parts are like an antique silver-brass color, so like a weathered silver with some slight gold-ish tones. It matches the vintage inspired jewelry I chose for this event perfectly, but it might not match shiny new jewelry quite as well. Pros: - Good price - Looks like the photo - No weird "textile I bought on Amazon" scent - Holds enough for a night out Cons: - Can't hold much beyond the essentials - It's not built to last - For $30, it is what it is. Looks quite nice, but doesn't have a quality feel. - No mention of what's in the mystery metal. Could be nickel or something else that's not allergy safe, for all I know. Overall I'm happy with it. The most disappointing part for me is not knowing what it's made out of, but I'm not planning to have it on my shoulder every day for years anyway. It's really nice for formal events, and although I know it's not high-end, I do like it and I want to make it last. I needed a black purse for an upcoming Gatsby-themed birthday party. This purse is perfect for my need. It looks better than the picture. It is big enough to fit my iPhone XR (10R) and has room to for a few small things like key, lipstick, etc.). First of all I love the Van Gogh's Starry Night print on the purse because it has a special personal meaning to me. The purse is also sturdy, cute, and is perfect for my everyday essentials like keys and phone, with extra room for a little more.
