Let's be honest, pants are a challenge to find in a store...after trying them on...and trying on a different pair....then a different size....then a different cut....then going home sad that I couldn't find pants. These are NOT those pants, these are AMAZING! Let me tell you why... 1) Great weight...the material is heavy enough for no bumps or lines! See photo- no pantylines... and I'm not wearing any 'smoothing' products. The fabric holds its own and keeps its tailored shape. The seams are substantial (see photo), often with online clothes, seams are nearly non-existent as factories try to scrimp on fabric as much as possible. These are quality. 2) Great length! These hit just below the ankle (bootcut). I usually wear a long...I'm short waisted but I have disproportionately long legs. This is a 12 regular...32" (and an eighth) inseam... true to measure...actual- with measuring tape 32" 3) Hugs curves.... Ok... so, I'm curvy. This has like 7-way stretch... I can sit...and they are comfy...I can stand...and they don't gap... I can (wait for it) squat ...and they don't pull (they don't pull down, they don't pull in the knees). These are better than jeans! 4) Pockets.... 2 hip pockets...no back pockets...it makes for nice lines. 5) Color- OMG- the picture does not do this beautiful purple justice! It will go with EVERYTHING! These are the pants I have been looking for all my life! I have a pair (two pairs) of pants from The Limited that are similar to these, a little lighter-weight fabric, but they are black (like everything in my closet...except the white shirt I'm wearing in the pic, I wanted you to see the rise and I needed a contrast color). I hope these pants wash well ... the waist band makes me a little nervous...it could roll...but the seams and fabric of these pants are AMAZING...so I am optimistic that it won't.... After a successful washing...I am going to order EVERY COLOR!!!! Only 'complaint', I wish the front was a little lower, it sits at my navel, but I'm short-waisted and I like lower rise...BUT these pants look AMAZING and feel like yoga pants (but substantial)...so just a personal preference....still going to buy EVERY color! This is my second pair of pants from this company. The fit is great. I am 5'5" and 140 pounds. The size 6 fits like a dream. I work in an office so comfort while sitting is a must. The waist of these pants never digs in. The material has a ton of stretch but doesn't get baggy by the end of the day. The style looks great with flats or heels. I cannot wait to buy more colors! So I gave these 3 stars mostly because of the pocket situation. I now have bought 5 pairs in different colors, returned 1, the charcoal w/ black speckles (so far) because they didn’t have any working pockets, while the maroon pair has functional back pockets and the green have functional front pockets, but not back. I ordered the charcoal and mocha as well, but haven’t worn them yet to see if they have any real pockets. Overall the pants fit pretty well, they provide some tummy compression without being uncomfortable, pretty comfortable to wear and easy to wash (they do wrinkle easily if you don’t hang them up immediately). If they could get consistent with the pockets I’d give a higher rating, but it’s annoying having to order them just to even find out if they actually have pockets. Read more

Love love love these trousers! My only wish is that they came in additional colors. They wear well, are comfortable and the perfect length for my longer legs (I'm 5'8""). Love that you can either remove the pocket stitches to have use of the pockets or you can leave them intact. Belt loops which are often left off of pull on trousers are an added bonus! Read more
