I got the size 8 and they fit like a dream
I had my third child about a year ago. With my second and last I experienced severe diastasis recti. This is an extremely frustrating condition because even as you lose weight your belly looks pregnant and even as you lose weight and sizes, your waist remains thicker. With three kids I haven't been able to repair my belly as quickly as I was able to with the middle one and have been desperate to find something that fit me right. That will also be functional when I do lose another 10 pounds and repair my stomach. My regular body is size 6, 138 and very fit and athletic. My body today is 155 pounds, muscular yet trim, but still holding 15ish pounds. I got the size 8 and they fit like a dream. They are fitted in my legs and butt which highlights the spots that are getting back to where I want them. And the pants were kind to my waist - did not create a muffin top which surprisingly some spanx did. And all of my old jeans and pants do badly right now. That said, I ordered the black and navy. Bought some cute floral shirts to match. These summer pants will save me a ton of money this season -- instead of trying to find clothes that fit and make me look like I want to, I have two nice basic items and I know they will fit even as I continue to lose weight. The buttons create a slender look, but I wasn't ready to wear a shorter top yet. But I liked it in the mirror from the front. Very happy to have these functional, basic and cute pants in my closet. I just wore them to a school show. I can wear them into the city to see my old work people. And I can dress it down with casual top for running down the street with the kids. I washed and airdried. Seems good so far. Read more
