The hour and minute hands are clear. And have little white tips. So it can be hard to read. Doesn’t glow in the dark. So if it’s dark you will not be able to read the time without a light. Is water proof but don’t take a bath in it or a very long shower. It’s an awesome watch that keeps on going. And it’s an attention getter and a beautiful time piece to wear. It’s automatic so with the movement of the wrist it will keep it ticking for years to come. Fossil makes truly quality products that can stand the test of time. But with the Relic Damon Automatic. You’re going to have to care for it. Take it off when showering. Wind it about 3 rotations to 15 a day. And treat it like it’s a Rolex and it will last you for a very long time. There is no battery. So you will never have to worry about your time piece going dead on you. If you can get past you can’t read it in the dark. And it will take a little learning curve to learn how to read it. It’s a beautiful design and a wonderful time peace with a beautiful mechanical display front and back. This watch will serve its purpose and you will look good wearing it for years to come. Read more

$100 watch that looks and functions like a $1000 watch. The dials blend in a little too well so it takes a little more than an instant glance to read the time. The watch is also encased in glass rather than crystal. I'm not complaining about these imperfections in the least just pointing out the things I don't like about this watch because it's a shorter list than what I do like. This is an absolutely stellar watch and I would consider is the best value per dollar I have ever spent on a watch. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Very nice watch! As of writing this review I've used this watch for about 2 weeks, Very nice time keeper, losing about 5 seconds over 2 days. The automatic winding is very smooth, I haven't manually wound this watch for the past week and the spring is still nice and tight. Lots of compliments! All the components are easy to see and the watch is so see through I could bring it up to my eye and clearly make out my father's face through it from just a few feet away. I've attached a photo of the watch against a white display to help showcase this along with the rest of the photos. the ONE thing is the watch is I can see about the complaints about it being hard to read, the hand are a bit thin but for me it's not a problem. The hands do glow by the way but it's only where the white paint is so it's dull. Overall, great watch! Worth the money big time. Read more

So it's not by any means a good watch generally speaking. The ion finish on the band will rub off fairly easily if someone works at a desk. The Chinese movement that's being used is on the rough side, it's made to look cool through the watch, but that's it. Mine runs a bit slow, and the hands are pretty loose, they rarely line up like they're supposed to, etc. However even with all this, if you consider what the watch is for its price, it's pretty great. It's the cheapest watch in my collection and I bought it purely so I can see the movement in full. It's like a little wonder on my wrist. I don't recommend this as a gift unless the person you're giving it to really won't care about it not lasting more than a year or two. Would be good for a teenager or maybe a college kid. I'm probably gonna get a stand for it and just keep it on my desk at work as something to gaze at while I'm thinking. Read more

I wanted an automatic skeleton style watch, so I started to look around online. The $60 price was right for me, as I don't have a huge budget to spend on a decent watch. I feel like the other reviews for this watch on Amazon are spot on, please take a look at those, especially the review which includes a video of the watch movement. I would disagree about being too big though, for me it feels great and does not bother me at all. I only have a couple of complaints about this watch: 1: It does not glow in the dark well enough. I watched a movie over the weekend, and I could not see the hands or hours dots at all. If you charge the watch under direct light, expect it to last about 15 minutes at the most. 2: My watch is about 20 seconds fast per 24 hours (it gains time). I've only had this watch about 3 days, so it's possible it will "break in" and slow down a bit. 6 seconds fast is considered to be acceptable even by more expensive brands, so even if it stays around 20 seconds fast for $60 I'm not going to lose sleep over it. (UPDATE 3/17/14 The watch is now only about 2 or 3 seconds fast per day. I had to demagnetize the watch, which was making it run very fast.) Even though this Relic watch is not perfect, I don't really care. I still love it, and I will for years. This watch really does have the feel of a much more expensive watch. It wouldn't have surprised me at all to see a $300 price tag sitting on it. Read more
