Defective Razor But Still Being Sold on Amazon
The shaver works well but battery and charging system are defective. REMINGTON HAS TO KNOW THERE IS A PROBLEM KEEPING THIS RAZOR CHARGED YET THEY CONTINUE TO SELL IT ON AMAZON. Read the reviews. Even the good reviews mention problems with the charging system. Mine has died after 6 months and will sometimes intermittently work if I shake it or plug it in for a few minutes. REMINGTON needs to take responsibility for the problems and take these defective razors off of Amazon. UPDATE: Changed the blades and now the razor works fine. Evidently need to keep blades super clean or it shuts off. I’ll see what happens going forward. Read more
It's the BEST hands down!!!!!!
I am impressed! I've used Norelco forever. I've up graded and upgraded, and the last one I got was too expensive and didn't work worth a darn. I ordered the Remington X7 because of all the good independent reviews, and the fact that the heads looked like when Norelco was good. My first shave with the X7 out of the box was incredible, took half the time and was close... the first shave. I know that every from now on will be incredible. This is a great razor... Better shaver than Philips-Norelco
Better shaver than Philips-Norelco. Had bought PN shaver since I had used theirs for years but new design was bulky, squared off and had extra plastic around the heads making for awkward shave. Also heavy. Miffed I decided to but Remington shaver. Simpler but lighter and more pleasant shape. Also less bulk around blades. And lighter just a bit. Only downside seems to not shave as close as PN. Read more
Best Shaver & Easiest to Clean!
This has to be the best shaver I've ever owned! It shaves very close, and the best part, is that you clean it with water after each shave. No need to remove individual blades (you're directed NOT to disassemble the head unit) and very long life on a single charge. Very handy and lives up to its reputation. Read more
Nice Razor That Stopped Working After 5 months.
I have used rotary electric razors for decades and chose to try Remington because the current Norelco razors brought out a design that looked too bulky around the razor heads. I have to say that I really liked the Remington X7 and thought that I had found a winner. However, similar to other reviews written on Amazon, my razor stopped holding a charge after five and a half months. A razor has to give at least three years at this price point, and other razors that I have purchased over the years have run much much longer than that. Disappointing to make a design that shaves well when it works, but have a quality control issue that negates everything and makes someone not trust the brand. Read more
