This truck is a bit of a tank and steers really well. After 2 years, it still runs great, though with kids being kids and the body being flimsy, it cracked within the first year to the point where it won't stay on anymore, though they still play with the truck without the body attached. Great RC truck for my 3 year old. I was in the market for a small/simple remote that was easy enough for a toddler to manipulate and this did the trick. The truck colors are vibrant and my kid was super excited when he saw it. It’s not the fastest RC car on the block but again for a younger kid messing around — no complaints. The truck is a good size but lightweight and gets around grass and pavement pretty well. Both the remote and truck take AA batteries (5 total). The battery life seems decent but I got rechargeable batteries so I don’t go broke replacing them. The positive is I can swap them out and not have to wait for the truck battery to recharge. This truck does not have headlights which after purchasing I realized a lot of RC cars do have. Not a huge deal unless you’re looking to run it at night. Decent quality for the price. This toy has provided lots of fun for my 2 1/2 yr old toddler (and his parents, lol). It’s easy to maneuver and lightweight, even works well in the sand. The batteries don’t need be replaced too often (unlike some of our other toys), so I’m satisfied with that aspect. I do wish it had a bit more power or “oomph” to the motor, but can’t expect too much for the reasonable price. Happy with the remote monster truck. Read more

I knew this was a low-cost remote control car, and I shouldn't expect the remote/truck to pair seamlessly or last a long time. But it quit working the same night it was opened, about 4 hours of play later. Then the connection between remote/truck came back, then it was touch-and-go, as in the wheels would move but not spin. Over the course of 48 hours, we changed batteries 3 times, and it's now died completely. Terrible! Will not buy this brand again. Read more
