This lamp is all glass, which is a plus, since a lot of these types of lamps have plastic shades. But this also makes it a slight bit top heavy. I love that the brightness and warmth of the light is adjustable, and the reason that I bought this over others was that it included the remote control, which works great from my kitchen to the dining area...about 15 feet. I used the USB adaptor to plug it in to an outlet behind my wine cabinet...plenty of cord. But be aware that it will increase the distance from your wall to the back of furniture that it's place on... to 2 1/4 inches, which will leave a larger gap than the usual plug. At least it will make it easier to vacuum behind the cabinet now. I took my photos from a distance so that you can see it in context to the furniture, which is 19" wide. This lamp has a very cute, modern, and retro look to it. My girlfriend loves mushroom themed things, so this fit right in with her decor. I will say, I am so tired of getting remote controls for every single lamp that I get these days. I have a drawer full of them and all of them lack any unique identifying characteristic, which makes them essentially useless. With that said, I do like the different color temperatures (we're more of a soft yellow vibe in our home), and the ceramic base makes this feel less like a cheap piece of junk and more like something that can hold its own on our counter. What a cheerful lamp! Indeed, this high quality ceramic and glass table lamp will light-up any room, not to mention the soul. It has such a delightful personality that you just can’t help but smile when the light turns ON. The quality of the ceramic base is first rate. It has a uniform globe shape, and a pure white glaze that sparkles in the light. The glass shade has also been skillfully crafted, with a beautiful creamy white translucent color, shaped to resemble a mushroom cap. When I first saw the listing I wondered if the white on white color scheme would be boring. But now that I have the lamp in hand, I can say with confidence “quite the contrary”. The two elements complement each other seamlessly, and create a unified form that’s soothing to the eye. It’s also fairly neutral, making it the ideal lighting fixture for any decor. Although I’ve seen this style of lamp before, this particular brand has at least one unique feature, a remote control. This is a significant improvement in lighting control that gives the lamp a premium feel. The G9 bulb can be adjusted in both color temperature and brightness, using the remote control. Importantly, the power cord has an in-line switch that can control ON/OFF, color temperature, and dimming. So even if the remote control goes missing, or malfunctions, the light can still be used with full control of the lighting options. With the only exception being the timer; that feature is unique to the remote control. 👍 RECOMMENDATION 👍 The lamp is currently priced at $29.99. That’s on the low end of the scale compared to ceramic & glass mushroom lamps from other stores. And considering the premium quality and the remote control, I’d say this brand is highly competitive. A quality made lamp, that is stylish and cute. Provides really great light at varying levels. Is easy to operate with the corded button/switch or the remote control. This light only works while plugged in. It does not hold any type of charge and once you unplug it, the light turns off and cannot be turned on again, until you plug it in, so you will always have to have a spot in which to plug it into, either a USB port or wall outlet or battery bank. Remote is cute and lightweight, and should it be misplaced, you can still turn the lamp on via the corded button. Many of these little remotes all look the same now, so as to not get them mixed up, best to put some sort of sticker on the back of it letting you know that it goes with this lamp. This lamp makes for a nice house warming gift, dorm room, small table, desk lamp, RV, etc. It was packaged very very well and arrived on time. I just wish that it had the ability to hold a charge so that I could place it in other spots. Overall, I'm pleased with the lamp. And before I forget, it came with a little package that resembles a type of candy, like a mint. But it's not that! Don't throw it away, be sure to open it, as it's a little gift from the company. This lamp is great. It fairly small, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in lighting options and brightness. It has three color settings (white, neutral & warm) which are dimmable as well and I love that it has a remote. It also has a timer, which is pretty convenient. Its compact size makes it easy to fit in small spaces and it is made of ceramic and glass, so it is solidly-crafted and well made.
