Too new to give any reliability opinion, but initially it seems to work very well. Several attachments allow use on different muscle groups in different ways. Has enough power to make you hurt. Recommend using at an angle to prevent it from hitting so hard. Recharges with a simple usb cord and charger making it convenient. Overall, very happy with it. Read more

Battery when low, (under 50%) was supposed to flash red. I would charge it regularly and also would not flash blue (when over 50%). Just today, it stopped completely with no warning. Tried charging it for seven hours with no response. Nothing. Spent $100 for a just one year. UPDATE: The people at Renpho have been very professional and honored the one year warranty by sending me a brand new replacement, not even refurbished. They needed the s/n and details on the bottom of the handle with a photo, but after that, I was happy to learn it would be replaced. thankyou. Read more

I was doubtful this would really help my sore neck and back, I've tried others in the past along with shiatsu massage, but my husband's physical therapist recommended it. Works well. Didn't take long to charge. Avoid hitting a bone, that feels weird, but the deep tissue massage is great and easy to use on your own neck and back. Nice carrying case. Read more

This massager is regularly "discounted" at around 100, and you can often find a coupon for it on top of that. If you can get it for around 70-80 then you should jump on it. When I first got the Renpho, I was concerned. Out of the case, the gun feels super light. I have an M3 and compared to that, it feels flimsy. The truth is, this thing has just as much power, but also has the torque to not stop up when you hit a hard or awkward spot. The weight change comes from the battery, I honestly believe the M3 has a better battery life and you can feel it in the weight of the unit. However, unless you are going to be massaging yourself for extended periods of time, it shouldn't be an issue. With all things that work with motors, the main test is going to be how long it lasts before the motor gives out. I'll update if it dies freakishly fast, but for now I've been using it once or twice a day on my quads and knee tendons and have nothing but praise. In this price range, in my opinion, this is the massage gun to get. Read more

I don't like to review unless I love something or hate it and for this one I am really pleased. I have try several models over the years and because I am the type of person that I love deep tissue, none has being strong enough but I put this on the top configuration and I can say that o finally find the one, this is strong and deep, now I just hoped that it will last a long time, I had it for only 2 weeks for now but I have 0 complaints, I use it every day on my calf and on the front below the need, even on the front and behind my legs and can get every where I want. I have alot of experience with using massagers and massage guns to help manage a chronic pain disorder I've dealt with for most of my life. Having a reliable and effective massager often dictates how long it'll take me to get out of bed in the morning, and how much I can accomplish throughout the day. Because I need to take breaks and massage myself. I will admit that it does seem to be well built. Way too many times have I purchased one of these guns and they feel smooth at first, but whatever cheap material is used to dampen the vibrations ends up wearing out, and a few weeks or a few months later, the massager becomes noisy, rough, uncomfortable and looses much of their therapeutic effectiveness. So far this Renpho massager has remained very smooth. And ive put it through its paces! However, a 10mm amplitude isn't nearly sufficient to get deep in the muscles to relieve pain and tension, or loosen up knots and stiffness. Feels like it barely penetrates my muscles at all. For minor aches, this might help you. But for serious soreness, stiffness, knots and tension, forget it.. I find that somewhere between 12mm and 16mm amplitude to be the sweet spot for a good, deep, effective massage that doesn't feel brutal. It's kinda wild how much of a difference only a few millimeters makes. Also, one of the photos claims it has a 150w brushless motor, which simply isn't true. The instruction manual says it's a 25w brushless motor and with how weak it feels, that would have been my guess. The major Achilles heel of this massager is the battery life! Its ATROCIOUS! They claim it has a 2500mAH battery and yet somehow this little thing burns through its battery very fast! Even on lower speeds. Id give the battery life a 2 out of 5. I own a more powerful Renpho massager, the R3, which I'll be writing a separate review for, but that model has a 35w motor if I remember correctly (even though the photo claims 100w), and the same 2500mAH capacity and yet this little massager burns through its battery just as fast as the R3, which I find very unusual. I regret missing the return window on this massager, because im pretty disappointed with them and they just don't provide the help I need daily. Will probably give them to a friend who exercises but doesn't deal with chronic widespread pain and stiffness like mine. If Renpho improves the battery life and their transparency about their massagers, they might have a really solid product here, but as they are now they just don't hit the mark for me. The only reason I'm giving it a 3* is because im impressed with how smooth it's remained while I've used it. Ill give credit where credit is due, because MANY other massagers, including more expensive, big name brand ones on the market have failed at making reliable, long lasting dampening in their massage guns. Im looking at you Hypervolt... Read more
