If you have sensitive eyes or find that your soft contacts get 'cloudy' easily, try this. It cleans deeply but is very gentle. No stinging or redness upon insertion. I buy things, so you don’t have to. I’ve been wearing contacts for over a decade. Wearing, washing, storing the same way all this time. I saw this product and had high hopes!! The product is packaged nicely, and feels like it’s made from quality material. Instructions are easy to understand, and follow. I set up the machine, and decided I was going to experiment on an older pair of lenses that had very apparent protein buildup. I placed the lenses in for what I thought would be 30 minutes, well…the long cleaning is about four hours! No problem, I let it go. Oh also, forgot to mention. Although the screen is easy to use and follow, if your eyesight isn’t great, or even reading glasses? Good luck!! You’re not going to be able to read any of the screen. You’ll need to take a picture then zoom in to see what it’s saying. Micro letters!! Poor design. Anyway after a long anticipated four hours, using the prescribed fluid of .9% NACL, which is also going to get very expensive as opposed to normal saline/cleaner, yes after four hours I used the provided micro tweezers to check out my lenses!! Protein was all still there. It looked clean though!! More define protein build up lol. So I figured maybe they were too far gone, let’s try my current lenses, which are only three days old. Same routine, four hours later.. I put them in with light clouding on the lenses, they came out the exact same. The machine didn’t do anything. It was on, I put my ear down to see if it was running and it was. They cleaned zero LIGHT protein buildup. With all that said, it’s unfortunate that the product doesn’t do what it actually said it does. I wanted to like this machine, it looks cool, feels good, I wanted it to work for me. I really like this little machine. I wear my dailies until they tear which takes months. I was suffering from constant dry eye and irritation because of all the buildup soaking the lens overnight wasn’t touching. The first time I used this product, I not only saw an instant change in the amount of protein sticking to the lens but I also felt it.
