Better than OEM

Love these toothbrush heads for my Oral B Io. They are a bit more firm than the OEM brushes but I think they clean better. I like that they're so affordable in comparison to OEM AND I like this design way better. The OEM heads have an opening where it tends to get moldy on the inside. These ones don't get moldy at all and don't splatter water like OEM does. I've been using my same head for 2-3 months now and it's still holding up well. This is basically a year supply of heads. Just as functional as the original brush heads.

There are two qualities to a toothbrush head: function and feel. These 'compatible' heads are just as functional as the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) heads. They brush as well and fit the Oral B iO as well as the OEM heads at less than half the price. But then there's the "feel" of them. The plastic of the OEM heads has a satin finish and is thick material which doesn't flex. The material of these heads is thin, glossy, and flexible. The OEM heads are smooth all around while these have ridges. In the photo, the OEM head is on the right. I don't understand the meaning of the I, II, III, IV embossed on the heads and that isn't explained in the instructions. There's no apparent difference between a I and a IV, for example. These brushes offer good value and full functionality of the OEM heads but do not offer the same high quality "feel" to them. Read more

Strong bristles that don't fade as fast as OEM with a caveat

These brushes seem like they will last a long, long time. Unlike the Oral B brushes, which start to discolor and weaken almost immediately and last a month or two, these brushes are stiffer and look and feel like nylon/plastic. So you must brush more gently. They are good for the price, but harsher on your gums and teeth. It would be good to find a happy medium between the cheap OEM brushes that don't last, and these seemingly forever nylon replacements. Read more
