We’ve been using a couple of these for about two years now, and have had no trouble at all. Very responsive, easy button layout, special buttons for Prime Video, Disney, Netflix and Prime Music. I just wish I knew how to custom program those buttons, because I have no use for Disney or Prime Music. Read more

This remote unfortunately does NOT duplicate all the functions of t he original. On the original, many buttons will turn the device on; on this replacement remote, only the on/off button will turn the TV on. It means you hit something that works on the original and it WON'T activate the TV (for instance, the select button, or the 'home' button). It's not the end of the world; it just means if you're operating by touch, you aren't getting the responses you expect to get. I also don't care for the texture of the plastic; it feels flimsy and unsure to my mind; your hand doesn' t grip the plastic well so it slips and doesn't duplicate the original very well. The remote works well overall and was very easy to pair with my TV. Setup was quick, and everything functions as expected for the most part. However, it will randomly open Amazon Silk out of nowhere. It doesn’t happen constantly, but when it does, especially while you’re in the middle of watching something, it’s definitely frustrating. If that glitch gets fixed, this would easily be a near-perfect experience. Read more
