After quite a few spills and messes on the family room carpet, I decided to give this a try before spending a fortune to have it professionally cleaned. Rug: 10X20 wool red and beige rug Types of stains: coffee, wine, flavored water, juice, dirt, food stains, and dog urine stains. Recommended Cleaning: I first vacuumed and then sprayed the noticeable stains: the bottle says to let it sit for a few minutes, scrub and clean. MY WAY OF CLEANING: I vacuumed, sprayed and after about a minute or two, I dipped the brush in clean water (had a small bucket of clean water) and I lightly brushed the sprayed area. I waited about a minute and then I patted the area with a dry towel to remove excess water - It is worth noting that I did not leave the solution on for very long because the material is wool and I was afraid of ruining it. Anyhow, I left it overnight and the next day, I vacuumed again. Results: It is a wool rug so not sure if it is normal, but the red did slightly fade (nothing too significant as it looks like when you vacuum and don't vacuum evenly). Once the area was dry (I left overnight), I vacuumed and simpyl used the vacuum to shift the slight discoloration. 95% of all the stains are gone, the remaining 5% are barely visible, AND I still have more than half the bottle left for next time! Product in general: It removed 95% of the stains doing MY cleaning method. The red color did fade slightly but it is wool so it could be because of the material. The smell is strong at first but it dissipates within a minute or so. Neither my dogs nor elderly father sneezed or fidget about the smell so that means everything to me! The sprayer works well and it didn't take much to target the stain - again, I didn't over spray (careful of wool material) and I cleaned it off right away (no more than 90 seconds after spraying). Overall: 95% of the stains came out and those that remained are barely visible to the naked eye, the product did not irritate my eyes, while the rug cleaned was wool, it didn't damage it (tiny bit of fading) and the most amazing thing is that it took about a third of the bottle to treat the stains, about 20 mins total to vacuum, spray, scrub and clean, AND the bottle is significantly cheaper than the $450 to have the rug professionally cleaned - I highly recommend! This is a good product, great on stains, but the sprayer is hard to use; uncomfortable in the hand. It requires tiring hand strength on all but very small stains. Read more
I’ve been using this for a while now and I’m honestly very satisfied with it. The quality is better than I expected for the price — it feels solid, well-made, and not flimsy at all. Everything works exactly as it should, and it’s clear some thought went into the design. Setup and everyday use are straightforward, which I really appreciate. There’s no learning curve or frustration — it just works. It fits well with how I use it day to day and has held up nicely with regular use. Nothing feels loose or cheaply put together. What stood out most to me is how reliable it’s been. I haven’t had any issues so far, and it performs consistently every time. For the price, this is definitely good value, especially compared to similar products that cost more but don’t feel any better made. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would buy it again without hesitation. If you’re on the fence, I think it’s worth it — solid quality, easy to use, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Read more

Resolve Professional Strength Spot Cleaner does work effectively on some stains, but I noticed it takes a lot of sprays just to treat one small area. Because of that, the bottle didn’t last nearly as long as I expected. It does a decent job on lighter or easier spots, but it doesn’t perform as well on tougher colors—like orange stains on a white carpet. It removed some of the color, but not all of it. Overall, it’s okay, but not as strong or long-lasting as I hoped. Read more
