Awesome for the price!
I am not a barber. I'm not paid to leave reviews, I was not giving these or in any way reimbursed for this review or this product. I'm a simple Rube who spends 30 plus dollars on a haircut but all I need is besides my head shaved. About a year ago I started going out the top of my hair and shaving my sides and back down as low as I possibly can, here's the deal, the barber usually doesn't use a foil shaver on the sides or back and so there's usually micro stubble and in one week I can shave that off myself. When my barber wasn't available and had to cancel an appointment I started doing just that shaving it myself. I started off with a manscape shaver which works totally fine, but if I let the hair grow longer it takes a long time as it can't cut through real thick hair.. In the second picture I'm showing the side of my head and where I lined up my hairline with the clipper, it got a real nice straight sharp cut that I've never been able to do myself. I use the foil shaver to shave my sides and back down to skin. It may not look it, but that's as smooth as a baby's bottom. My hair grows back so fast and it's so dark. I really wanted a foil shaver to do this. Last but not least is the actual shaver itself, I used it very minimally just to get the hair down to a smaller length to hit it with the trimmer and then the foil cutter. But so far so good. The overall feel of each tool at first is hefty, feels solid and almost professional. However, after using it, you do realize the housing is plastic and that does give it a little bit of a cheaper feel compared to saying all metal professional grade tool, but for what most of us are going to use it for at home well worth what I paid for it. The foil shaver is a bit bulky but does a very good job. Very easy to clean. My biggest gripe is the blade guard take off to clean. It out is held on with really small tiny plastic clips and I'm worried those won't hold up over time but only time will tell. I believe the foil shaver was delivered to me at 98% battery. Upon finishing my sides and back almost 100% completion, I'm down to about 75% battery, if I was completely bald I would say I would probably end somewhere around 40%, so that is very sufficient in my opinion. More of this long story. I think it's well worth the money. I think I paid $60 minus 15% coupon add tax. It came out to like $61 or something silly like that. A haircut cost me $26 plus $10 tip, and I should get a haircut once every 3 weeks. If this lasts me 6 months I've saved a ton of money.lol Completely cordless and uses USBC to recharge, which I'm super stoked about as everything in my house is USBC.
