This is the most amazing thing I've seen all Halloween! My daughter has a costume idea and I knew this would be perfect for her. What I didn't know is that I would start to regret getting this for her instead of myself... until I received them and I misunderstood... I didn't get four pieces (which to me implied one set), I received four sets. Each set includes two round lights, super thin and lightweight, with plenty of cord, a connector cable that the eyes attach to and then it plugs into a battery box that needs two AA batteries. I was wondering how you could use these and not be blinded, but as you can see from the photos, the back side is pretty shielded and not much light shows through (it's the orange one). It absolutely wouldn't affect your ability to see as long as you can see around them. The light is really bright. Even though it looks blue in my photo, it's a bright cool white. The battery box has a clip so it can be attached to a belt or pocket, and there is a push button to change it from on, to a slower flash, then to a quicker flash, and then off. Only 3 of the 4 pairs work, and naturally the pair I planned to use the most, the red, has one of the 2 thats defective. Of course I can return all of them or none of them, when the best option for me, which isn't an option, would be for the seller to just replace the single faulty light so I could utilize the others in the mean time. It says for use with masks or helmets, and I wish you luck with that considering the lights are not transparent and they are wider than most any eye hole on a mask or helmet which is what I need them for (not a knock against the product, just providing info.), and you can't cut these down to size like some of the others ive bought.
