I wasn't sure what to expect from this product at first, and went into it with minimal expectations. I am someone who uses athletic tape semi often, and always just carry the roll around with me, and didn't think much of it, but this product does provide something that I didn't quite know I was looking for. It is a 3d printed plastic holder with threading, allowing you to unscrew it and add a new roll as you empty it. While it is 3d printed, it feels very durable. It has paracord wrapped around a ringlet on the plastic body, and that paracord loops through a carabiner. I held the main body in place and pulled and yanked on that carabiner with more strength than was reasonable for a real world situation, and let me tell you, it held up. It didn't even feel close to breaking, not the 3d printed body, not the paracord and not the carabiner. The threading inside is also quite rugged, and has held up well to my testing. Basically, this product just makes it easier to keep track of your athletic tape. It's not much deeper than that, but it works in a way that I never realized I needed. I'm a fan, and can safely recommend it if you're in a similar position, carrying athletic tape around with some regularity. It should hold up well to repeated use and mild to moderate wear and tear. I think it would take jumping on it with your full weight to break it, and even then it might not crack. I'm very impressed by how durable the product ended up being, considering it is 3d printed. This is just too keen! How many times have you been stuck digging all in your bag for your tape? I've done that entirely too many times, and I don't like it at all. Now my tape is on the handle of my gym bag and I can't lose it! This little holder is 3D printed, but it is STRONG. I need them to come set my printer up! I've had it on my bag for months now and it hasn't gone anywhere! It comes with tape, too! It's really easy to reach, use, and refill the tape, but I haven't had any issues with it coming off my bag. I like to keep some athletic tape with me while rock climbing to tape up any small cuts that occur during the climb with something that is durable and allows me to keep climbing. This dispenser is a great way to keep the tape ready at hand. I am able to clip it right to my harness in a convenient spot within reach, and quickly deploy tape if i need it. Not a necessity, but definitely a convenience. Read more

While this product is very clearly 3D printed, I'm not one bit upset by that, as I've found it incredibly useful and sturdy to hang on the outside of my bags. I typically use black athletic tape, so I did not use the included tape, but that does mean that this holder will work with other rolls than the one that comes with it. The clip and lanyard are nicely attached and don't feel like the typical cheap carabiner that I've received on many other items. Overall, I'm quite happy with this! Read more

No idea I needed this till I got it--it's so simple yet practical! I usually throw some tape in my climbing bag to keep for when belaying but it always gets lost or gets bag contents sticky from the edges of the tape. This is clip and forget (but you never forget it at home!). You can see by the lines it is 3D printed and not injection molded, but it's still great quality IMO. I love that it came with tape and is easy to unscrew and change out. Definitely recommend! Read more

Good simple design. I like being able to hand the tape outside of my workout bag. When I used to throw the tape directly into my bag, it gets dirty, crushed, and is hard to find. Being able to attach this to the outside makes it quite nice. The holder screws on and is a perfect fit with the core of the tape. Once tightened down, the tape is still able to spin freely, without wasting much space at all at the gaps. Simple and functional. Great concept. Read more
