Is This Nail File Worth Your Money?
Nail files are a consumable item, so sooner or later, you'll need to buy a new set. This time, I decided to try the nail files from Revlon. At first glance, everything looks great: an attractive price, especially for a pack of 10, and a seemingly reliable manufacturer. The file has two sides: one coarse side, which easily shapes the contours of the nail and can even handle a broken nail, and the other fine side, which we use to smooth the edges. I’ve tried it out myself and can confidently say that for my needs, this product is quite justified. By the way, sometimes nail files can be quite small, but that’s not the case here. Some users complained that the base of the file is flimsy, but I can't agree with that—it's of standard stiffness and durability. Just don’t rub it as if you’re scraping rust off a truck—be gentle with your nails. As for the price, let's be clear that this product shouldn't cost a lot: it's basically just sandpaper (albeit with the logo of a well-known personal care brand) glued onto thick cardboard. Technically, it’s no different from the sandpaper your husband uses in the garage to smooth out wooden items for whatever his hobby is. So I see no reason to dwell on the price—it’s exactly what it should be and might even be cheaper. My conclusion: I’m satisfied with this purchase. There are 10 items in the pack, and you can spread them out in different places: in various bags, in the car, and so on.
