I like this nail file a lot. I've used glass files and the generic sandpaper files. Some of glass files I didn't like because of the chalky texture and the sound it made against my nails (like chalk on a blackboard). Some glass files were too soft/gentle on my nails and didn't file them well or took too long to shape nails (they do suit some people). I thought the sandpaper files were okay. But I noticed that they sometimes made my nails peel from the edges or didn't do a neat job. The glass files sometimes would do the same. These ones seem to be just right so far. I've just got them, so will have to use them a few more times. I didn't have any sensory issues with them (i.e. like the feel/sound of chalk against blackboard). And they don't seem to take long to shape nails. No peeling so far, so fingers crossed. I wish it just came in one pack instead of two. But oh well. I can keep them in two places for use. Read more

I’ve used these Revlon metal nail files for over a decade and they are the best! Easy to clean, great for cleaning under nails, and the texture/grit is excellent for shaping and smoothing nails. I recently bought into the hype of the glass nail files and they are okay but here I am, coming back to old faithful, haha. These are such a great price, too, cheaper than at my local store.
