I definitely wouldn't call these 'Victorian ' but I LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots! My calves are 18", I ordered my normal size 9.5 (euro 42). They fit perfectly. The calves are slightly snug but not uncomfortable, and I anticipate they will stretch a little. The quality is what you'd expect for the price. PU 'leather', the rubber sole is a bit thin. I may look for something to add to it. I know how to use Shoe Goo. Heel height is 1.75 inches. The zipper pull feels strong, sturdy, and comfortable. Comes with paper-fabric dust bags to keep them clean when you choose flip flops or slippers instead. The best part...THEY HAVE POCKETS!!!! Perfectly sized for carrying your identification and a credit card. I suppose you could clip your keys onto the buckle so you don't need a purse. :) I am very happy with this purchase! Read more
