Love this set. I waited until on major sale though. Would not spend on them if not on sale, just me though because they are very nice and sturdy. Look is classy. On the heavier side which I like and ridges keep glass from slipping out of your hand like smooth glassware. Small glass is large enough for a square large cube. Read more

I love the rocks glasses. They are perfect. I bought the set because buying the highballs separately were almost as expensive as buying the set - at least close enough that I felt like the extra money was worth it to get these extra glasses that I can use in a pinch to supplement my other highball glasses that look similar, but are a bit bigger and from different manufacturer. I love these glasses. They have a really attractive appearance, they're a good size and a good shape, and have a really nice weight to them and they don't stick to the coaster. I bought the double rocks glasses so they are a little large for drinking whiskey neat, but they're a really nice size for mixed drinks/highballs and for drinking whiskey over a large single ice cube. I definitely want to pick up a second set. They arrived without damage. The packaging was adequate, bubble wrap around each glass in a partitioned box. I even risked running one through the dishwasher on the top rack just to see if they actually are dishwasher safe. And it came out sparkling clean, no damage. I only used the normal setting and did not use the high temp wash so your results may vary, but I'm quite pleased. Read more

For some reason, manufacturers are coy about how much glassware weighs (vs holds). I emailed Riedel & they said “ 0.11243575 pounds,” which is both absurdly precise and flat wrong—that would be around 2 ounces. Ordered them & each rocks glass is 400g or 14.1 oz, per my kitchen scale. Reasonably hefty. Made of “crystal glass.” Quite roomy for cocktails, broad enough for your nose if you’re sipping something neat. Read more
