I have a shoe collection to rival Imelda Marcos, and usually wear 3-5 inch heels, but these may be the greatest shoe purchase I've ever made. I got them for a trip to Montreal in December, and they are my new go to versatile travel shoe for winter. They are shearling lined, and super warm, but not so warm that I can't also wear them indoors. They are waterproof for rain and sleet, and can stand up to salted streets (just wipe the salt off after). They are Grippy in ice/snow. They look great with a dress out to dinner, but are SO COMFORTABLE that I can also wear them out all day walking the city. They are not so tight that they can't be comfortably worn over leggings. The touch of natural leather means I can wear them with Black or Brown... I've worn these for 12 hours and my feet still feel like they are on clouds... Perfect for when your feet want that "hugged by a lamb" feeling of shearling slippers, but you need to look more put together than Uggs. It's going to be hard to switch back to other shoes come spring! PS. as with all Reikers, they run a smidge small, so I did order up a half size as I often do with boots. This boot is amazing. When I purchased I hadn't noticed the boots are fleece lined, so what an added bonus! I really like that the boots are man made, because even though I'm not vegan or vegetarian, I try to do my part by purchasing cruelty-free make-up and clothing. The Rieker Womens mid-calf boot is really made and comfortable. The is some synthetic "rubber", so is fairly quiet when you walk. It comes just below my knee and is so warm and comfortable. The sizing is also very accurate. I tend to vary in boot sizes, from an 8-9.5; I normally wear a 9-9.5 in shoes, so I was very happy when my size 41EU - 9.5US boots arrived and they fit perfect. Absolutely love these boots. Reiker has always done well for my dress work shoes and boots due to their comfort for walking and standing for long periods at work. I loved the look of these for more casual dress and the usual comfort & quality of Reiker shoes did not disappoint. Be warned they are very comfortable, but warm. Not sure I will be able to wear these during the non winter seasons, but would love if they came out with the same or similiar look in a non winter boot. Once again Reiker provided me with the unique style, quality and comfort I look for in Reiker with extra warmth for the winter months. Read more

This is my third pair of these boots. I literally wear them everyday. My feet love them. They fit like a glove UNDER my pants leg & I allow the bottom Rodeo-look of the boot peek out. They are line with soft wool and are super warm for the winter. These black boot DO NOT STAIN from winter elements/products. The Reiker company has retired this model-but I found them on Amazon—in my size. Had them delivered to my workplace and the girls raved! Going to order one more pair-to be on the safe side. I LOVE these boots. I normally wear a 10 and a half, but because these are lined with warm vegan fleece i ordered an 11 and they are PERFECT. So ordering a half size up might be the best option. They are warm and comfy and the only color left was the olive, but i actually love the color. I dont have skinny legs, but athletic calves and the boot is large around my calf, so i think large leg women will find these perfect.
