Just got my RingConn 2, and so far, I’m really impressed! I went with the gold, and it’s a gorgeous color that matches my other jewelry perfectly. The ring fits snugly and comfortably—I got a size 9 for my index finger. I also really like the portable charging case; it’s sturdy and convenient. I charge it while I shower, and it’s ready by the time I’m done. I’ve only let it get down to about 70%, so I can’t say how long it would take from a completely dead battery. The app is super user-friendly, and I love the sleep tracking feature—it seems accurate, and I look forward to checking my sleep score each morning. I haven’t compared steps or other metrics to my Apple Watch yet, but I plan to and will update my review later regarding accuracy. No scratches yet, but it’s new, so I’ll see how it holds up over time. From what I’ve seen from other users, I’m fully expecting some wear and tear eventually. I have been using this smart ring for over a year now. The charge still lasts a long time. Mine lasts over 2 weeks, but i usually put it on the charger for about 20 minutes once a week. Sometimes I forget and only charge it every two weeks. The tracking features are excellent and its comfortable enough that i firget i have it on. I selected a size that was able to fit on multiple fingers so i can change fingers if it feels to tight on my usual finger. 99% of the time, i wear it on my left index finger. I am very happy with my purchase. On other review sites, some people have had battery issues after one year, I hope mine will continue to hold a charge well. The shape of the ring is so much better than the Oura, the Oura is very thick compared to the RingConn. I tried the Oura first, but I couldnt stand the thickness between my fingers and returned it. I really like the data this ring gives me. I deducted a star for the app. The app doesn't distinguish or allow you to edit for overnight wake ups and keeps overwriting the wake up time it does let me edit. there is no detailed data export so that's also not the greatest. overall. having this for only a few weeks I'm very happy with it. and glad it works without a subscription. on pure aesthetics. I like the way the silver looks on my finger. The ring is very light. not sure about durability yet but hopeful I get a few years out of it. Read more
The RingConn Gen 2 does what it’s supposed to do. It provides basic medical stats, and does so without a monthly subscription fee like the more well known health ring. It is also very easy to link and set up. The app is very intuitive and easy to navigate. I selected RingConn primarily because it provides data on your sleep, including sleep apnea statistics, which the other rings don’t. The ring is comfortable to wear and is much lighter than I expected. You barely know it’s on. It’s also not as wide as its competitor. I recommend ordering the ring sizer kit first. The sizing is not the same as a traditional ring. Also, the silver version is very high gloss, like chrome. I originallky ordered the silver ring, but then did a return and got the black one instead. The black has a flat or satin finish. I like that much better, but it’s all about what appeals to you personally. I am very happy with the RingConn Gen 2, the info it provides, how quickly it charges, and that you get your data without having to pay a subscription fee or have your personal information uploaded to the web.
