I really enjoy cosplay and decided to order this cowboy outfit. There are more negatives than positives unfortunately. I am usually impressed with costumes and the attention to detail most strive for even with outfits that never are meant to be used like clothing. The fit was small, very tight for an XL size. I usually order up for costumes but decided not to for some reason or an XXL wasn't available. The vest was just stretchy enough to snap on. I compared the belt to my everyday belts and it compared to a medium or 40. The wrist wraps fit my wrists as did the bandana that was similarly sized compared to my other bandana. The Bolo tie fit as well. The quality of the vest was ok but it felt more like I was wearing tight pj's. It was a very soft fabric and made a good attempt to look like suede but with no stiffness to make it at least look like suede leather. The belt was a PU stamped leather and the buckle was metal and I liked the antique coloring that was done. It felt like the Bolo was made of braided paper and but had a nice metal longhorn cattle skull as the clasp and fashioned after the bull on the belt face plate. The scarf was actually larger and nicer that my other bandanas. It is made of a crisp black polyester fabric and it could be reversed and presented as a gray bandana. I liked it alot. Besides the great bandana, what I really liked about the outfit were the 5 leather wrist bracelets. Each was made in a different combination of string and thin leather straps. The leather straps are woven, braided, tied and wrapped to make 5 unique bracelets. The strings allow you to open up the bracelet enough to put on and then sinch up to tighten on my wrist. I used to make similar bracelets when I was younger. I will most likely use them regularly, not just for cosplay. The Bolo tie brings back memories of my grandpa as he worked the railroad and wore bolo ties with his cowboy stetson, his distinctive y cowboy style crisp shirt, his turquoise adorned belt buckle and his cowboy boots. While I am nostalgic about the Bolo tie I'll most likely leave it for cosplay. The bandana is so unique I can see using it outside the dress up cosplay events. I will get more use out of the set when my grandson grows into it in a yr or two. Read more
