I was quite amazed at the quality of this thumb piano! The woodwork is smooth and flawless, and the attention to detail is very nice! I hadn't played one before which resonated so much. The packaging and included items is also very nice. It comes with both a soft bag and a semi-hard case, decals and stickers which can make it easier for beginners to learn the notes, and instruction book which also includes many songs, fingertip covers/protectors, and a tuning hammer. this is a super fun and accessible instrument! You can start making music immediately even if you aren’t following a specific melody. Playing by ear is easy to do, but I need more practice in order to start playing recognizable songs. This instrument is really finally crafted, it feels super sturdy, and is easy to tune and take care of. The capybara carving is adorable, and makes it even a little more fun. The media could not be loaded. I had never heard of a kalimba until I found this on Vine. The wood is beautiful and it’s made well. It comes with so many accessories like a fairly hard case, a bag, cleaning cloth, etc. It’s nice that I didn’t need to buy anything else. I appreciate that it even came with a tuning hammer and a book telling me how to. It’s so fun to play. The sound is beautiful to my ears. I only wish it had come with a better music/songs book and that the literature had been written by someone with English as their first language as it can be hard to understand. I'll admit it...I ordered this because I love hearing these on TikTok. They sound very soothing. The package this comes in is really nice, with a dust bag to store the thumb piano, and then a case on top of that. There are little thumb covers to protect your thumbs. The natural wood color I got is beautiful, and this looks very high quality. It's easy to hold and fun to play. Even my 11 year old daughter enjoys playing around with it. It takes a bit to get the idea of a true piano out of your mind and get used to how these notes are arranged, but it's not difficult.
