Stay away!!!
Stay away from this repair kit! These parts are cheap Chinese knock-offs that will not function properly. I rebuilt my backflow preventer using these parts and when the technician came to test the unit, it failed. He disassembled the unit and said I had done everything correctly but that the springs on the check valves were way too stiff and were preventing them from working properly. I ended up spending $450 for him to rebuild the backflow preventer with an original Zurn / Wilkins kit that worked perfectly. The difference in the spring tension between the two was immediately obvious. Save yourself a bunch of grief and just buy the actual Zurn / Wilkins kit! Read more
Lay out all the parts and verify they match
Perfect fit and no more leaking. Parts looked exactly like the original except body ends on original had flat washers. The o rings worked just as well. I used NSF approved silicone paste on o rings. Read more
