These are incredibly comfortable pants. However, as every other reviewer states, they are HUGE. I wear a size 14 an I ordered a 1XL in black. After putting these on, I realize now I probably should have ordered a L or a M. The elastic is very flexible and not the kind to hold itself forcibly against your body, like some elastic pants can, i.e. yoga pants. I could easily fit another person inside these pants or at least a couple of beach balls if I were so inclined. However, if I roll the waist up and wear a long shirt, they certainly work for hanging out around the house. Plus, the length is perfect as I was constantly tripping over my yoga pants and these have pockets, which is nice. So, in short, if you're looking for a comfortable, but not necessarily flattering pair of house pants or possibly something to exercise in, these are the ones for you and should order whatever size suits your fancy. If, you're looking for a pair of lounge pants that you can also run around town in for a quick jaunt to the grocery store, I would suggest grabbing a size or two smaller than gut tells you. These are more like sweatpants. I'm 5'4'' and they fit to the ankle! Not capris at all. The pic shows them fitted at the knee. For me, the leg is too wide and way too long. But I'm keeping them because at least they're not too long where i step on them, a common problem I have. The positive is i find the waist perfect and appropriate for my surgery scar on my navel. Well made and fit. I ordered large. I bought 3 pair, tried them on as soon as they came and immediately tried to order more, using the "buy this again" feature in my account. Imagine my disgust when I found the price had doubled within days. I have had this happen before here on Amazon, and have read posts from others complaining about price jumps. I used to love Amazon, but numerous issues, such as the dramatic jump in the price of ebooks, has me rethinking my Prime membership. My shopping habits are changing as Amazon is changing. Read more

These must be the muumuus of the pants world, because they're just a rolled top over thick elastic and wide legs. To be fair, the seam finishing is nice for the knit that it is. But, there is nothing stylish about these. If they were smaller, I might wear them at home for lounging pants, but trust me when I say they run huge (and I'm not small woman). After reading various other reviews, I ordered these capris pants in a Size 1X, a size smaller than I normally wear. The fit was just right. However, they seem to be a little short in length for capris pants. I am 5'3" and the length is just right on me, but if you are taller than that, you may find that these are not going to be long enough to qualify as capris pants. The knit fabric is very soft and comfortable and is thick enough as to not be see through. Love the side pockets as well. Read more
