BUY THESE NOTEBOOKS. This notebook is exactly what I need it to be. What I need in a notebook is that it be small enough to fit comfortably in a pants pocket, and not fall apart after heavy use. I've gotten them moderately wet and dried them out and they continue to work just fine. I've filled at least 4 of these notebooks and the binding has never gone out, though it will get worn and faded. These notebooks are lightweight, the perfect size for a pocket notebook, and extremely functional. I get looks from people all the time when I pull out my notebook but there's something satisfying about going back and picking up an old worn notebook with your handwritten notes in it. I should mention though, that I just ordered some new ones through this ad and these are different from the ones I've received in the past. These have a different material covering the binding (i.e. the dark green stripe by the binding on both sides) that to me, looks stronger and tougher than the old lining but I can't vouch for it. So for the record, this review is specifically talking about the older version of the notebook, though I highly suspect the new ones will work fine. Bottom line: Need a pocket notebook to use and abuse while recording your day-to-day minutiae? Get this one. Get a couple in fact. Read more
