I got these for my kids for Christmas. It is by far their favorite bath toy. The movement is quite realistic! It's fun for me to watch too. They lasted for about 4 months and then stopped working. Compared to the other things that zuru has made, these feel the least powerful. They stay on the surface and a light movement of the water can push them around even if they're swimming in that direction. Even in their burst movements, they hardly move. My cat is not as entertained as he normally is with stuff like this. I thought these would be good because they're big and easy to see but I think he still prefers the axolotyl and mermaids. (Yes, these are for my cat, he loves these kinds of toys and he's not as bothered by water as most. He will reach in and play with them. His favorite are the mermaids.) Read more

These little turtles are precious. I bought them for our great grandchildren,2 girls ages 6 and 8. Twin Great Grandsons age 2 I was concerned the 2 yr. olds might break them quickly with getting excited and being too rough, the flippers are soft rubber so aren't easily snapped off. The children equally enjoyed the turtles. Playing with them outside in a small plastic child's swimming pool. Played with them for hours and they are still working beautifully. Neither works and can cannot be turned on. Perhaps because there's not good contact for the on switch---a major flaw in design. The kids were very disappointed, as am I, but could not return as I had torn the packaging when opening the box---perhaps this was designed intentionally. Read more
