The clock works well, has several different options. I prefer the background that lets you display your own pictures. You can use one picture, or have several cycle through at intervals that you can choose. Downside is that you have to leave your SD card or flash drive in the unit, and they stick out from the left side. The SD card sticks out a little bit, and the flash drive sticks out quite a bit unless you use a short one. As for setup, it’s pretty intuitive to set the time, date, etc. You just use arrow keys on the right side to navigate through the onscreen menu. Some users have confused how the battery works. It works like traditional alarm clocks where you need to have it plugged in at all times, but has a battery for backup so that the time and your settings are saved if you need to move it or have a power outage. Excellent clock for memory impaired users, date and time are easy to read. Display is not too bright at night and has options to set pill alarms. I needed a full featured clock calendar that wasn’t tethered to some “smart” device spying on me all day long. This, although marketed for seniors with dementia etc works perfectly as it has a variety of displays to choose from. Setup was very easy and device is nice and bright. It takes batteries for memory backup in case of power outage. There is even a photo frame feature that I intend to try out eventually. Highly recommend this for the price! Read more

Easy to read display. Helpful for my 90 year old parents to keep track of the date. To set the date, time and alarms requires using tiny buttons located on the side, not a touch screen. My parents are unable to turn off the alarm. Read more

Wonderful, simple to set up and brightly lit clock that can easily be read from outside the room! Quick to set up, I've only used the minimal setting of large clock against white background and it's just what I wanted. Looked small when I first opened the box, but as I said, it's easily readable from 10 feet away. So far it's keeping accurate time. Be careful - this product is great for a calendar clock (bought for my 92 year old mother to keep track of the days), but the photo part is a disappointment. In order to see the photos, you have to keep an SD card or thumb drive connected - not what I expected. And my SD card would not even go in the slot. If I had forced it, it would have ruined the card. So, great for the calendar clock part, not great for the photo part. I do like the fact that you can program it to dim at night. Read more

My mother loves it. The alarms help her with independently taking her medication and the large date and time display help her as well. I may order one for other areas of the house. It would be nice if there was a mobile app to disarm the alarm from my phone. Read more
