Comfortable, good fit, good durability for a slipper

I wore these for right at three years before ordering another pair. I wore them the vast majority of days and for most of the day. I washed them probably every six months or so, and they held up just fine to that. For the first probably six months or so, they were pretty form-fit to my feet. Not tight, but my foot didn't move about in them at all, almost like wearing a thick sock. After that they loosened up a bit like I would expect slippers to fit. Then sometime around two or two and a half years in, they each started to develop a crack in the sole, halfway down, where your foot bends, right between the shapes straight across. This doesn't really impact anything unless you walk outside through some dirt or grass, in which case you might get stuff stuck in the cracks once they get bad enough. Coming up on three years of wearing them and they started to crack along the outer edge of the bottom, one slipper at the toe and the other at the heel. This caused the slippers to fit looser than I'd like, and starts to become a trip hazard from either an edge of the bottom catching or from the general sloppy fit, so this is the point I ordered another pair. With thin or some medium-thickness socks I generally didn't get sweaty feet in cooler weather when indoors, but these are not slippers you can wear thicker socks with in an indoor setting, or at least not for me. In warmer weather I'd just wear them with no socks and they were warm enough to handle the A/C. For this kind of money, getting three years of almost constant use out of them is good value, in my opinion. Recommended. Read more

Comfortable, Odor Resistant Slippers

This is my 3rd pair of these slippers. They are very comfortable, resist odor, and are inexpensive. I've tried many different types of slippers. Some cheap ones wear out too quickly; the expensive ones with fur get so odorous that I don't want to wear them after a year. Note: I always wear socks with my slippers for the extra warmth and to protect the slipper's from sweaty feet. PROs: Very comfortable. Sizing is good (a little tight at first, but gets looser over time). Odor-reducing feature works great, and they are fully machine-washable. Removable heavy-duty foam insole is really comfortable and lasts forever. Medium warmth, I use them almost exclusively indoors (65-72°F). CONs: Durability is questionable. I use these slippers indoors every day for most of the day (I'm retired). The first pair lasted 18 months, the second pair less than a year. In both cases, the plastic/rubber sole on the bottom split. Did not have any problems with uppers. Read more

Comfortable and warm

I hate shopping for slippers and have to go from store to store trying on so many pairs before finding one that works, and then sometimes those turn out to be a bust after wearing for a few days. I decided buying blind from Amazon would be as effective and found these from RockDove, the removable insole was the selling point, along with the too-rare closed back and firm sole - all important for plantar fasciitis. I went up two sizes, as slippers often run small. My previous pair was a 13 while I normally wear 10-1/2 to 11-1/2 shoes. So I got the 13 and they're perfect, they stay on comfortably, but are not so tight that I can't step into them and settle my feet without needing to pull up the heel by hand. I also normally buy wide shoes, so the extra size helps with that and these are just about right in terms of width. I pulled out the included insole and slipped in ones designed for plantar fasciitis, which fit fine. They're comfortable, look good, and warm (but not too warm, which can also be a problem). With the replacement insole they're also supportive and feel great. Read more

Great quality and comfort

I’ve had this pair of slippers now since 2021 and they are still going strong. I wear them inside and out, and the soles are still in very good condition. There aren’t any tears or seam separation anywhere. I was thinking of getting another pair just for inside only, and decided to leave a review of the remarkable quality of these slippers. They are super comfortable and don’t leave odors like others brands I’ve tried. I’d highly recommend them! Read more

OK but very noisy on hard surfaces

9 1/2 wide needed so purchased 10. Also needed to use custom insoles. The original insoles removed easily and mine fit well. They are light and comfortable and OK, not great, quality. Unfortunately our home is mostly ceramic tile floors and these slippers go clop, clop, clop on the tile floors. No skid marks, just annoying noise. They sound like flip-flops. No, it is not my walking style - I am a senior and have had scores of slippers and footwear--my last were Sketchers and they were silent. Spouse says it does not bother them, so I am keeping them. Just be aware. Read more

Good price point for the quality and feel. Have two pair of different designs and pleased with both. Rubber sole offers good support so far. Hope it lasts. Read more
