First, these run small. I ordered size 11 (because my feet have grown) and putting them beside my size 10 Rockport booties they are identical in size both in looks and fit. Second, the leather quality is stiff compared to my old Rockports and there is little arch support. My older Rockport are still in great shape and the support is great but they are too small. Sadly, the quality has cheapened and I continue to wonder why shoe sizes are not consistent these days. That said, I am returning. Read more

These are really nice looking boots. Unfortunately, I need to wear them, not just look at them. I wear 8.5 wide so that's what I ordered. They are very long, probably at least a 9, and wide enough, the leather is very hard and doesn't seem to give much. Most importantly, the ankle opening is way too large. I do not have skinny legs and have always had boots of this style fit my ankle. I tried walking in these and my feet were moving all over. No ankle support whatsoever and the sole also seems very thin. I have never had Rockports before, but was always under the impression they were quality shoes. I won't be trying this brand again.
