Rooscier Womens Elastic High Waist Tie Knot Back A-Line Flared with Pockets Long Skirt

This is one of the prettiest and most elegant skirts I’ve ever worn. The high waist with the sash belt/tie makes it look so sophisticated and classy and does a great job at concealing anything on the stomach that might make me self conscious. The waist is high enough that it would look so cute with a crop top and would not be too revealing, but it also looks super cute with a longer shirt tucked in. The fabric is flowy, silky, and lightweight but is not at all see through or cheap feeling. The side slits are perfectly placed and you only notice there’s a modest slit when walking, when standing still it looks like a full skirt. The slit is not too high so it remains understated and demure but just gives a bit of a flirty fun modern style. Even though the material is light I had no trouble wearing it to a holiday dinner for my husband’s work- I wasn’t outside long but I feel like I could pair it with some leggings and tall boots and would have been fine wearing outside for awhile in colder temps. There were a few wrinkles when first opened but they quickly came out with me just shaking it and laying it out for a little bit, I did not need to iron or steam. I have not washed it yet, but will probably try to dry clean simply because my washer likes to destroy clothes. I think a good washing machine on delicate would do just fine with it. I loved this skirt so much, that despite the price being a little higher, I bought in 3 colors. So I definitely feel like it is worth the price and, honestly, could probably be priced higher and still worth it! If you’re one the fence I really recommend it! Oh, and it was the perfect length on my 5’2” frame, hitting about ankle length. However, with the high waist you could definitely pull it up or down to get it at an ideal length so I think it would fit a wide variety of heights. I really hoped this would fit. It’s beautiful and made well. As others have said, the waist is small and has no stretch. It’s very well tailored, but meant for narrow waists. Sadly, I had to return it. The red is a lovely color and fabric is very nice. Read more

This skirt is so feminine and flattering. It flows beautifully when you move and has a peek-a-boo slit up the side that shows a sexy flash of leg occasionally, but not scandalously so. Not only does the waist synch at the perfect spot, I also tie the bow in front to help conceal my little bit of mom-pooch. It looks fantastic and I get so many compliments. Don't worry about wrinkles either. There were some creases when I first opened the package, but I washed it and gave it a little iron, and I haven't had to do anything to upkeep it. It doesn't wrinkle throughout the day, and it's not creased coming out of the wash. It's so low maintenance that I could hardly believe it. The only down-side is that it's a material that makes me think of the smock a stylist puts on you, and it rustles a bit when I move, but the positives completely outweigh that one negative. Don't Buy - the waist is not at all elastic and the waist is WAY smaller than the rest of the skirt. The waist fits at least 2-3 sizes smaller than listed. Also, beware that if you return this you will be charged a damage fee before they even get it back and inspect it. I dropped this off at a drop off location within minutes I was already issued my return with a damage fee included, even though I returned it unused, in the original packaging. Read more

BONUS, it has pockets! It has pockets, ladies! That in and of itself is awesome, but the material and the style are super nice. I've dressed this skirt up with a nice blouse, a nice pair of heels, tied the bow in the back, adorned myself with jewelry and went out on the town. I've also simple styled it with a shirt, flats, tied the bow in the front and had a more casual look. So versatile! I've only purchased it in the black so far, but I'll order more colors soon!
