The longevity is not there. The smell is not there either. I like the idea of hanging it. If you are seeking something that has a strong scent and will work for a drawer, closet or vehicle, this isn't it (at least what I experienced). The size is about the size of your hand and I believe it is powder inside. I think the powder clumped together because this may have been an old batch they made.
