I can't begin to express how convenient, useful, and lovely this flower light is for me! I've been needing a bedside lamp, but I was completely out of space on my nightstand. And I'm so glad to have found a lamp that doubles as a book light, and tripples as a flashlight! It takes up the smallest space possible, even in any shape of the rubber stem you want! It's amazing how lightweight and comfortable it is to wear around your neck. The end of the stem reaches far enough around my neck that it can touch the blossom, and it feels very secure, easy to position in any direction you need. You get three different shades of white or golden light, and you can turn each one all the way up or down in brightness, so it's practically the best thing possible for reading your books and studying. It also came mostly charged and ready to use right out of the box. Nitty gritty details.... My only two complaints are about the initial setting for brightness, how it starts at medium and goes up instead of down at first long press, and how the charge socket is right next to the button. I'd just personally prefer the gentlest light settings all come first to go easy on eyes at night. But they did that half way by making the most golden tone come first. And I can understand that most people would think the light was still off, if it wasn't at least medium bright and they were using it during a bright day. I'm thankful that you can't turn it off with a long press as you turn down the light. It just stops at the dimest setting. And when you have so many settings to control with only one button, it can get a little frustrating, eventually, when you just really want to be able to turn it off immediately, but you need to press it like three times if it was on the first color shade. But most book lights work this way, so I do understand. It's already innovative in so many other ways, you can't expect everything to be as if it came from a perfect world of the future. Super cute but sadly disappointing. First of all, the concept is fun but itnisnt very functional. Unless you are securing the wire wrap to something or leaving it sitting on a solid surface, it isn't really stable. You can't sit it on the bed next to you pointing at the book and have it stay in place. It is too top heavy. It would not stand up like it does in the marketing image. Secondly, the power button blends in with the rest of the flower. So it isn't the easiest to locate, especially in the dark. Lastly, it turns off after about thirty seconds. I originally thought the battery was low. So I plugged it in to charge it. I charged it overnight. And after coming off the charger, it still turns off after thirty seconds to a minute of illumination. I gave it two stars for its cuteness. But the functionality just isn't there.
