This item was delivered lightening fast. First impressions: The materials feel a little cheap to the touch, but it looks really nice and a has a good weight to it. Shaver head contours nicely to the scalp. Pros: comes with lots of nice accessories, including a nose/ear trimmer, facial scrubbers, and trimmer with length guide attachments. It's easy to switch out the various pieces. Came with a 98% charge which was easy to tell from the digital display. $30 is inexpensive and an excellent price for how well it performs Cons: proprietary charger- better not lose that! The instructions could be clearer, especially regarding how to disassemble the shaver head for cleaning and maintenance. We still can't figure out how the center part twists open after you open the outer ones, so we can't clean it properly. No indication whether it can be used under running water or not. Using it: I shaved with a razor a few days ago so I had stubble and some ingrown hairs on my scalp. I'm a woman with severe alopecia. The hair is fine and thin. My husband also shaves bald, but has weeks of regrowth with length, density, and coarse hair. I had no problem immediately shaving my head. I used no water, oil or foam, and got a reasonably close shave in seconds. A circular motion and some pressure were necessary. Not razor smooth. But close enough. Very comfortable and didn't injure my bumps or aggravate my sensitive skin. My husband found the shaver tugged on his 1/4" or so of growth, and switched to trimmer. He found the trimmer a little awkward in terms of hand placement, but he got it done relatively quickly, if not perfectly. Then he went over with the shaver, and it was smooth sailing, even over the areas he missed with the trimmer. He then tried out the nose hair trimmer, and said that worked well. All told, we probably ran the motor for 10-12 minutes, and spent about 22% of power, going from 98% to 77% charged. I think it's perfect for maintenance between razor shaves. If you just care about bald appearance, and don't require a flawlessly smooth scalp, you may never need your razor again. I'll show some scalp close-ups. The head shaver arrived promptly and was packaged professionally. Ease of use: Right out of the box the shaver had about 95% charge and was easy to turn on. Instructions are minimal and lacking in detail and clarity. Shave quality: I used the shaver on my face and it did a fine job negotiating the contours and providing a good shave with little to no noticeable nicking of skin or tugging of whiskers. Functionality: I tried to use some of the attachments, but couldn't get the attached after I removed the shaver head. After I removed the shaver head from the body I couldn't get it attached as it was originally. Maybe better instructions are needed or, as I believe, a clip broke on the item. Durability: As mentioned previously, after I removed the cutter head from the body, I couldn't get it to reattach the way it worked originally. I inspected the clipping mechanisms on the body of the shaver, the underside of the shaver head, and the accessories. I believe a clip broke off the parts that secure attachments. No clicking sound is heard when the shaver head is reattached and it does not stay secured. All in all, I don't think this item is designed and built for long life. Also, the instructions need more detail as to how pieces fit together and come apart. But, if you are not going to take the cutter head off and use the other attachments, it did a decent job of shaving my face. I think there are better options available. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this without expecting much, but it honestly surprised me. It shaves well and quickly, without pulling hair or irritating the skin like others I’ve tried.
