This Hub is awesome. It works with multiple devices (all Apple in my case) and is compact, very solid and well made -- even "buttoned" for the ports in use (meaning you turn them off or on and get a blue light to show when on). It saves the day for my 2018 Macbook Pro that has one failing USB-C port, and even though it has 3 others, somehow I always have more devices I need ports for. Its being powered (not needing/using laptop power, though it does work just fine without power when possible) is a bonus. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and if the description of what it does is what you need, you won't go wrong buying this Rosonway 7 Ports Powered Hub. Read more

I really like this USB Hub and Rosonway makes quality products. The unit is sturdy and and sleek! I love the amount of ports the hub has and lets me have so many things charging/running at the same time. I had no issues running 8-9 things all active at the same time with now slowdown or interruption. I do like the individual on off toggles for each port, and sturdiness of each button. However, I was not able to charge my laptop via the 10GBbs USB 3.2 port (USB-C) as it was only providing 15W of power and i needed 60W. This was a bit of a let down, but not a deal breaker. Also, I would like a bit longer of a cord, but I knew of the length when purchasing. The fast charging ports did work well, and this unit does the job well for what I need. I know I can depend on the Rosonway devices in terms of durability. I would recommend this device for all the ports it has available you, just do not expect it to power your laptop. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Review of Rosonway 7 Ports USB 3.2 Hub 36W I purchased the Rosonway 7 Ports USB 3.2 Hub 36W and tested it in two separate configurations. First with my Surface PC laptop operating Windows and second with my Mac Mini 4 operating Sequoia. The Hub, which is powered with a 36W(12V/3A) DC power adapter, comes with 7 Ports, 4 USB-C 3.2 ports and 3 USB-A 3.2 ports. It claims speeds up to 10Gbps on every port. The Hub is small and sturdy aluminum device with independent electronic switches on each port and a blue LED indicator to display power status. This enables power management over all connected devices. When I connected it to my Surface laptop PC it worked seamlessly. I was able to connect to my external mouse and keyboard, 4 thumb drives and an external backup drive. The computer recognized all the drives and could rapidly access the external backup even with all these peripherals attached and running, the hub did not get hot (only warm as would be expected). I then put the hub through an extremely tough challenge. I connected it to my Mac Mini 4 through one of the rear-facing thunderbolt/USB C ports. I then connected all my peripherals to the hub. I did not use any of the other available Mac Mini ports, only the Ronsonway Hub. I connected the following peripherals: external Kensington Trackball mouse, a Seagate Portable 4TB External Hard Drive, two thumb drives, external speakers, a Xencelabs Quick Keys, and a backup UPS device and a second hub (7-Port USB C Hub Splitter 10Gbps with 3 USB-3.2, 4 USB-3.0 Ports) – this hub was connected to a Logitech camera. All of the peripherals worked perfectly. I could open and read all the external drives (the Seagate and the 2 thumb drives) the webcam, mouse and Quick Keys all worked without problems. Even with all these peripherals including the second hub attached and running, the hub did not get hot (only warm as would be expected). I couldn’t be happier with the performance of this compact, but powerful, hub. I made a brief video if you want to see the hub and the attachments I made to the hub. One final thought, I believe this hub is a terrific economical option for expanding a laptop or desktop to accommodate an amazing array of peripherals. This hub demonstrates that a single USB C connection to a Thunderbolt 4 port on my Mac Mini, can simultaneously and seamlessly accommodate a wide array of desktop components. Read more
