Purchased a white shade as a replacement for one that was older than the hills (note: do not use a vacuum cleaner attachment on the inside of your lamp shade). The top of the previous shade had a larger diameter but I couldn't find another that matched it anywhere. Thus, this one has a more pronounced profile / \ but I'll, reluctantly, get used to it. Buying a lamp shade online is not for the weak at heart but this shade is well constructed and of good quality. Thank you to all the purchasers who included a photo as that helped guide my purchase. Our 90 year old aunt decided to wash a lamp shade that was easily 30+ years old. Sadly, it did not survive. This was a perfect replacement. The first arrived with a spot on it (under the plastic wrapping) but the company was great about making a quick return and sending us one that was perfect. Read more

I have a vintage floor lamp with a 10" milk glass light diffuser on top. This shade fit perfectly over it and came down right where it should for the three candelabra lamps below. The shade is very well made with sturdy frame and fabric just like a genuine old one would have been. The eggshell color looks great. Very pleased. Read more
