The media could not be loaded. Fantastic piece of hardware that has helped me dramatically un-clutter my desktop and reposition my PC more out of the way. The USB C-to-C with built in USB-A adapter on one side is a great thought and feels quality, so far it has been keeping up with data transfer rates that match the ratings of the ports. I'm pretty confident the bottlenecks are actually in the devices I'm plugging into the ports. The dedicated power brick matches the stated power output and also feels of quality, not super flimsy and concerning that it'll burst into flames like so many other USB hubs in this price point. The actual hub itself has a satisfying heft to it and is very sleek and well manufactured. One very nice feature is the individually "activatable" ports, I don't see it being super necessary but when managing multiple devices it's nice to eject and then turn off the port without actually removing the cord or device, helps prevent me misplacing unique cords and those tiny MicroSD card adapters. I'm usually not a fan of capacitive touch activation on these types of devices and prefer actual physical buttons, but I can see how this will be easier to quickly wipe down and just has a smoother build overall. There has been some thought put into this, as it takes a quick touch to turn on the port, which has a blue indicator light next to each port, and then it takes a ~3 second hold to turn off the port. Other products I've used in the past had just a touch on/off and the number of times I'd disconnect a device while transferring files when I'm trying to plug something else in was so annoying. So far my experience in RSHTECH products has been great, where I have it pictured installed is actually just below two of their USB switchers that I have been using for over 6 months with no issues. I can foresee this product lasting just as long and more. They offer this "extended warranty" free with registry of your purchase for a total of 2 years of warranty which sounds great, much better than the ~30 days you normally have with Amazon items. I've never used their warranty though, so I can't speak on the actually quality of that, just gives me a good feeling for now. I love the quantity and choice of USB ports both A and C, and do like the thought to separate the USB-C 3.2 vs USB-C 3.0 ports on the ends divided by the USB-A 3.0 ports. This helps a lot with quickly and unmistakably putting the right devices into the right ports. Overall, I think this is a solid buy and meets & exceeds its cost. It's certainly not the cheapest hub out there, but I feel like I'm getting a product with quality that matches or exceeds hubs that are easily double its price. Would recommend, buy with confidence. If I have any issues with this product in the future I will return to this review and edit it. Read more

Its compact rectangular design makes it suitable for both desktop and mobile setups, while the 3.3ft cable provides ample reach for flexible positioning. The individual touch switches for each port are a standout feature, allowing users to enable or disable ports without physically unplugging devices-this not only reduces wear on connectors but also helps manage power consumption and device security. The overall build quality is solid, with the aluminum housing providing both durability and a modern aesthetic that complements most workspaces. The hub’s weight and rubberized feet (if present) help keep it stable on the desk, even when multiple devices are connected. This configuration ensures compatibility with both legacy and modern devices. The inclusion of multiple USB-C ports is particularly forward-thinking, catering to the increasing prevalence of USB-C peripherals, smartphones, and storage devices. The mix of USB-A and USB-C ports allows users to connect a wide variety of devices, from external drives and keyboards to smartphones and cameras. Performance: Data Transfer & Power Delivery Data Transfer: The hub’s USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports deliver up to 10Gbps, which is ideal for high-speed data transfer tasks such as moving large video files, backing up SSDs, or working with external NVMe enclosures. The USB 3.0 ports, while limited to 5Gbps, are still sufficient for most peripherals and older storage devices. Power Delivery: With a 60W external power supply, the hub can support multiple high-draw devices simultaneously, such as external hard drives, SSDs, and charging smartphones or tablets. This is a critical feature for users who routinely connect power-hungry devices and want to avoid voltage drops or connection instability. Individual Touch Switches: Each port’s touch switch allows users to control power and data flow independently. This is especially useful in shared environments or when using sensitive devices that should not always be connected. The switches are responsive and accompanied by LED indicators for at-a-glance status updates. Compatibility & Use Cases Operating System Support: The hub is plug-and-play with Windows, macOS, and Linux, requiring no additional drivers for basic operation. This broad compatibility makes it suitable for mixed-device environments and users who switch between different platforms. Ideal Use Cases: • Office Productivity: Connect printers, scanners, external drives, and input devices to streamline workflow. • Creative Work: Simultaneously attach high-speed storage, cameras, and audio interfaces for content creation. • Gaming & Home Entertainment: Expand connectivity for controllers, headsets, and external storage on gaming laptops or PCs. • Travel: Lightweight design and robust power delivery make it a practical companion for mobile professionals. Real-World User Experience Setup: Users report that the hub is easy to set up-simply connect the power adapter, plug in the USB cable to your computer, and start connecting devices. The long cable is particularly appreciated for desktop setups where the PC may be under a desk. Performance: Most users experience reliable performance with stable data transfer rates close to the advertised speeds on the 10Gbps ports, provided that both the host device and the connected peripherals support USB 3.2 Gen 2. The hub handles multiple simultaneous connections without significant slowdowns, thanks to its ample power supply. Touch Switches: The individual switches are praised for their convenience, allowing users to leave devices plugged in but powered off when not needed, reducing clutter and wear on ports. The LED indicators are bright but not distracting. Thermal Management: The aluminum body helps dissipate heat effectively, and the hub remains cool to the touch even under heavy load.
