I got this as play clothes for my 4-year-old. She is very picky when it comes to clothes and materials, so I am always looking for things she is willing to wear and comfortable playing in. This was a great match, the material is a rougher cotton material, but it's great for playing outside and easy to clean and it didn't seem to bother her at all. Its super cute and offers great coverage on the top and with the length of the shorts. The shorts also have a great elastic band that holds up well and has adjusted during a slight growth spurt. I love that this little girls outfit is a little more modest than what you sometimes see. The shorts have good coverage and are not too short. No issues with tummy hanging out, even with the top appearing to be on the short side. The straps are just the right length to be cute and cool for summer but modest enough to keep her covered.
