Don't buy this if you don't like attention. Okay this was definitely worth the money. I have never had so much fun on Halloween than I did with this. Literally, I had people take pictures with me and was the object of attention at all the parties. I had people stop me everywhere I went and got asked tons of questions etc. as can be expected with such an eccentric costume. On the quality. This is actually not the EXACT replica. the exact replica is manufactured by a company, which I did not know beforehand, but this is so close you cannot tell the difference. The build quality is superb. I dropped the helmet and sitting in a car is not the most comfortable thing and this costume is made to last. As for the harness. That is also not the same one, but its good enough. It uses velcro and it works fine. Cons: The pictures show shoes, but these do no come with it. For the gun I bought that seperately and spray painted it--can't tell the difference. The velcro on one of the pieces was slighly out of place , but I just reattached it without doing anything, not a big deal. Conclusion: All in all I will reuse this costume every Halloween and it wil pay for itself through the years. It's very high quality however, if you want it to be comfortable as this is not a comfortable costume to wear at all--it will require some modding, which you can easily perform without making any noticeable alterations such as cutting pieces to fit your body(see google). The only difference between this and the one the company sells for the same price is that the back piece that goes over your "behind" is two pieces. This is one however, I almost prefer this. The helmet is the real deal i.e. the same Hollywood version. Overall this costume is the real deal and was totally worth all the attention and conversations I recieved, which was not expected. I've wanted this since I was a little kid. Read more

If you're like me, you've been wanting Stormtrooper armor for a long time now. You don't want to pay a lot for a kit, because let's face it, $400+ is a little steep for all the work you're gonna have to do. Fully assembled kits are crazy expensive, near $1200. So that's out as well. And then, you stumbled upon Rubies. You've heard about the bad rep this armor gets and you read some of the complaints. Allow me to entirely confirm those problems. I got this thinking "hey, what a fun project. I can make this work." Incorrect. The armor is absolute hot garbage, and that isn't an exaggeration. I bought it two years ago, wore it twice and its been collecting dust in my basement ever since. I wish upon wish I had went to Etsy, or FISD for sale forums, or literally anywhere else for my first stormtrooper armor. THERE ARE BETTER, CHEAPER OPTIONS AVAILABLE. You just have to look. Second hand suits, partially finished kits, build commissions...anything. Its ungodly uncomfortable, the plastic is far too thick to work with, there's just too much to improve to make this look good. Just avoid it. I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING: "Nah, not me, this is a great deal why not? I can do this." Please don't make my mistake. Read more

Great stormtrooper costume however if you do have a big booty it's a little weird in the back. Lol I can fit in it and I'm only 5'7 and my son can also fit into it and he's 6'1 And we both weigh around 200 lb. Just be really careful in cold weather 30 and below because if you hit or bump the plastic it will crack. And just to let you know you cannot sit down in this costume at all, So be prepared to stand! Don't get me wrong, it's great overall. Starting with a few cons: -Bit big for me (5' 9"), but that's just life. -There's a good amount of noise when walking around, but they don't call them Stormtroopers for nothing, right? This would probably be alleviated slightly if it fit me better. Parts clang against each other as it is, though. -Getting this outfit on and off isn't easy. You're absolutely gonna want someone to help you. I mean, I guess you could do it yourself, but I imagine that'd be pretty hard. -The effectiveness of the Velcro on the included black bodysuit is dependent slightly on how well the costume as a whole fits you. For example, if you're a bit short for it (like me and apparently Mark Hamill), the shoulder guard may come too close to the arm guard, or the arm guard may come too close to the wrist guard. -Don't plan on sitting down in this. All that said, onto the positives: -It looks great. -The helmet is relatively comfortable, though it would almost definitely get stuffy in there after awhile. Vision is dependent on how you angle your head, and it isn't great, but it could be much worse. If you want to wear glasses in it, it's possible, but it'll be less comfortable. Granted, I have a slightly bigger head than some others. You could compensate for lack of space by trimming down some of the cushioning in the helmet. -The parts seem pretty sturdy. I wouldn't bang them against the wall or anything, but it seems they might take a few hits (unlike actual Stormtrooper armor). I'm careful with the helmet, though, because it certainly doesn't seem as sturdy as the rest of it. And lastly, in case anyone's wondering, here are some related products that you don't need if you buy this: -Ribbed neck cover (I was told that my neck wasn't really visible unless you were to lean down and turn my head) -Black body suit (one's included, don't make the mistake I did) Read more

It is awesome! The helmet is a little odd with the bulging lenses but ok. the electronic one is better detailed. Double the price for an authentic one in Great Britain. difficult to sit down and make sure you go potty before you put it on. light weight and you may need to add more Velcro to some areas. Overall it's worth the money if your not a very good fabricator of Coplay stuff. Read more
